I've noticed that part of the community is just ... absurd. For two instances, I've booed a level and the creator of that level got all mad and disliked my levels. One of them even threatened me to yay his level or all of my levels will get booed. Just today, I disliked a level and the creator played my multiplayer level by himself and booed it.(I know this because I checked recent activity) I set the level up to where you cannot play with 1 player and you have to wait in this room until someone else shows up. He played it by himself so he practically booed my level without playing it. Sometimes I'm afraid to boo levels because the creators might not except criticism and get in a rage and won't rate my levels honestly. This gets me mad! Will this part of the community ever change?

Tileno, I'm afraid you have to accept the community the way it is. I mean, the majority of the community are kids you know. They are biased and can't accept criticism most of the time. Don't let people prevent you from speaking your honest opinion with silly threats such as dislikes. Everyone is gonna be hit with them! Continue to share your feedback with creators, whether they like it or not, because know that they can't truly stop you.

If you are worried about these immature "revenge booers" why not trying a neutral review with helpful feedback. If a level isnt something your interested in or nneds work its usually taken a little better if its not a boo. A boo review kinda looks like it says "this level sucks and heres why" while a neutral one is more like "this is a good start but heres a few things that would improve or fix it". Even if it seems "sugar-coated" most are more likely to not take it personally and listen to your tips. Most of the time it looks worse on the creator/player that booed than the level it was on.

Also I don't boo a lot but when i do it's because i really disliked the level, and then I tell them why in a review sometimes. if they want to be a baby and go after me just because i booed their little level. i say let them. i don't care. I'm very good at ignoring people when it comes to BS like that. all levels get booed. most well made levels have more boos from pity people then bad levels do. so just don't pay notice to it. *mew

Tileno, you have my empathy. I call it revenge Booing. It's an instant kneejerk reaction and a lousy, easy sort of behavior that social networks enable, even encourage. While it is a fun and friendly game, LBP2 as an online interaction tool still suffers from the two prongs of Internet evil: stalker-easy stat tracking, and anonymity. What's troubling is that Booing people for any reason is not the default behavior of human beings. Voting systems themselves are a kind of illlusion... we think we're individually expressing ourselves, but it's a kind of mass behavior assimilation. In the case of Booing, those who don't get cowed into just never doing it (me; I give up, I only give positive feedback now out of fear of retribution) learn over time to vote strategically, based on how everyone else does it. Either way there's very little honesty or self-expression in it. It's kind of grotesque that we teach our kids how to deal with others in the world through this sort of behavior... Which brings me to ANOTHER rant, heheh... As others have noted, the majority of LBP players are children who will never know what the world was like before the world went all 4chan Youtube twitbook... children still too young to know how to interact with people in a face-to-face capacity. This is the most insulting thing about being revenge Booed. Where everyone can say anything about everything, quasi-anonymously, it levels the playing fields by bringing everyone down to the lowest level. At which time, we all might as well all act like idiots. It's all that seems to work in the system. You don't have to simply suffer it -- you can lash back, but the type of person who revenge Boos is willing to play the arms race of rudeness by leaving increasingly hostile comments, then reporting you, then sabotaging you if possible, and it takes two to tango. Fighting a jerk with jerk-like energy is bad for everyone. Reacting with humility and reason gets you absolutely nowhere... it lowers you beneath the playing field so you feel like less of a human being than the human being who thinks it's okay to go around sh*tting all over your creative projects because your online lives happened to intersect. I just don't Boo anymore. I very carefully, very placatingly treat strangers like they're Johnny from The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street. "Yes, this IS a sucky level. Yes, I DO suck. Yes, you're right! That's very astute. You are correct. That's a lovely costume. You're wonderful and clever, and I'm just a big idiot! Let's do whatever you want." My goal is to survive the interaction without incurring their stupid child wrath, and then I get the hell away forever. Of course I'm exaggerating. But it's fun to talk like this now and again. Refreshes me so I can forget all about it and play the game proper!

Wow.... This heppened to me and my friend. Ok, so we had been working on a christmas hide and seek level for at least 3 months. Some guy comes along and says ' this level sucks, mine is way better' turns out his is near empty and does not even have any hiding spots. And i was so mad...
