Little Big Fantasy - Goddess War [Episode1] (1Player ONLY RPG)

Archive: 8 posts

This is my first LBP2 level.

It's the first part of the RPG series I was planing to make.

The first Episode includes 3 Chapters which were all maxed out, so the loading time in between levels might be long.
It introduces the Menu, Battling System, as well as the story behind.

I made up the whole story, however it was inspired by 2 of my all time favorite video games: Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts.

It took me a while to make. I know the story might be too confusing at the begining, but there were 2 reasons:

1, I wanted it to be confusing since the first part was a dream
2, I'm not an English speaker, so telling story in English is challenging. lol

Please check it out if you guys have time, I hope you guys like it.

Thanks for checking this out!

Played it last night, and man! I really loved everything about it! The combat was fluid, dynamic, and flashy. The menu system is really streamlined, very neat and tidy. The level design for each was very well done, especially when making the Goddesses and Ultima. The story has all those classic elements of Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, and don't worry--you told the story really well. I liked the second dream twist, too.

Needless to say, I'd recommend this to any fan of RPGs. Heck, anyone who doesn't like them I'd recommend this to, haha!

I remember testing this with you long time ago and it looked like a unglued mess, now it looks great and everything fits I really like the story, even frozen fire didnt develop story like that yet. Level is very long to play but quality keeps you playing since you want to know whats next.

Oh andd finally some Jolly's music in LBP2 ^^

Wow, i cant imagine trying to write a story in another language lol I liked everything, especially the art. I still got to finish, but there was a lot of pictures that explained the story and i thought was really well done. The menus were also neat and easy to understand. It does start off a little slow, maybe thats why some of the immature members of the community decided to dislike it, but dont let them get to you, this stage is great. 2011-08-01 22:28:00

I don't know how you pulled this off, but it was brilliant! I was not expecting to see a turn based battle system and it was executed perfectly. All the different spells and attacks were just amazing. Loved it. Awesome job. Amazing. I don't know what else to say, you left me speechless.2011-08-03 19:09:00

Hey, its you! I'm glad to see you're still making levels and, to make it even better, a final fantasy level! I must play this right away. I also made an RPG level. Its an RPG battle system beta that works similar to final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy 6.2011-08-03 22:39:00

I got to say, X-Nobody-X, this is your best work yet.

VISUALS:
The scenery looks brilliant and artistic as it is filled with amazing environment, breathtaking cinematics, and detailed attacks, and the menus are well made. Man, you spend a lot of time corner editing a bunch of things just like your LBP1 levels. Your engilsh is all right, but I did see a error in the scene where a mysterious triangle force around you in the cemetery opens the new path as you should correct the word "Entrance".

SOUND:
The musics are well put, and the custom musics are brilliantly made (especially the remake music of the town from "Chrono Trigger").

GAMEPLAY:
The level is filled with JRPG goodness. In the part where you go up against the wrong key goddess in chapter 2, the battle system works really well. In chapter 3, there was some great objectives that will have players get ready for a big adventure.

OVERALL:
This level is definitely worth checking out. A yay and heart.
