I have the same thing, i stand up and blackout sometimes. I once got up to fix my poster on my wall, blacked out and found myself on the other side of my room on the floor....**** i need to go to the doctors too..... | 2011-07-31 20:03:00 Author: Hellobob5 Posts: 382 |
Yes, if that tends to happen often (I occasionally get a bit light-headed when standing up/moving suddenly, but it goes away in few seconds). Especially the hallucinations sound a bit worrying... | 2011-07-31 20:32:00 Author: OrwellianStuff Posts: 90 |
If it happens often yes. If you read the safety warning on LBP2 it says at one point if you are lightheaded consult your doctor before playing. Mabye the video games have something to do with it but yes. | 2011-07-31 20:48:00 Author: craigmond Posts: 2426 |
If you're not trolling me with the Funky Kong ****, then I suggest you go to the hospital, or at-least call NHS Direct. | 2011-07-31 22:02:00 Author: abyssalassassin Posts: 717 |
I every once in a while get that If I sit down for long periods of time and immediately shoot straight up. Try getting up quite so often to allow the blood to circulate through your body. You're light-headed because certain points of your body would be restricted from sitting in awkward positions or even just sitting, and when you stand up all that blood rushes to another point, leaving some parts without enough blood flow.... Or so I've heard. | 2011-07-31 22:07:00 Author: illuminationx Posts: 860 |

The only times I've ever felt like I was going to pass out (roughly three) I've been at school. Once in P.E when I had been running for ages and threw up, once at the start of the day after skipping breakfast because I was late, one time in D.T when the air smelled of wood chippings and strong glue. So physical exertion, hunger and strong fumes could affect you. :/ | 2011-07-31 23:09:00 Author: abyssalassassin Posts: 717 |
Why not? Go for it! | 2011-07-31 23:22:00 Author: Sport_dude Posts: 622 |

Or so I've heard. That's probably it, because if you stand up to fast you get a head rush and go light headed. As for the Funky Kong thing, I don't know, just your mind playing tricks probably | 2011-07-31 23:55:00 Author: TheMonkeyBlade Posts: 687 |
Sudden movement, such as quick acceleration and deceleration tend to upset the equilibrium. As mentioned above, if it persists, I would visit 'em. | 2011-08-01 00:04:00 Author: Maxi Posts: 1176 |
That's just head rush (or it sounds like that from your description) everyone gets it. When you sit down for long periods of time, get up slowly and not quickly, it should prevent it from happening. | 2011-08-01 00:09:00 Author: Plasmavore Posts: 1913 |
Why not? Go for it! ^This^ What's there to lose? A bit of time? | 2011-08-01 00:59:00 Author: Jedi_1993 Posts: 1518 |

Yeah, but you also shouldn't be wasting your doctors time with harmless, non-threatening symptoms. This is a universal experience for everyone - we all get that head-rush if we stand up too fast (caused by a sudden drop in blood pressure). If it is persistent, or happening at inconvenient times - or if the dizzy spells are especially pronounced or you are actually fainting - then yes - go to the doctors. other-wise - don't waste their time. | 2011-08-01 01:29:00 Author: Macnme Posts: 1970 |

Hm? It could be Anemia? Just like when you lose blood, you feel weak and sleepy; Your tiredness everytime you stand could be a 'lack of blood'. Of course, this is a worse-case scenario. | 2011-08-01 21:38:00 Author: Nurolight Posts: 918 |

Sounds like you might have Anaemia, its a deficiency in iron, the symptoms of which are light headedness, lethargy, dizziness e.t.c. Iron is one of the main ingredients needed to transport oxygen around your system. Dizziness and light headedness is basically a lack of oxygen to the brain Get some Iron supplements from your local health store, eat plenty of red meats and/or green leafy vegetables, Lettuce, Cabbage, Spinach e.t.c. are the best types. You may also have low blood preasure, if a large portion of your diet contains high levels of salt (that includes pretty much all types of 'quick' pre-packaged food types, which are extremely high in salty preservatives), that will be effecting your blood preasure, meaning even less oxygen is getting round your system. You may also have an infected lymph node, lymph nodes are also part of your bodies blood pressure regulation system, having an infection in one of them might be tightening an area of one of your arteries slightly more than usual, which would cause bouts of dizziness and light headedness. Its nothing too serious, unless you begin to keep passing out regularly. I would go to your doctor either way, just to get a professionals opinion. | 2011-08-02 00:39:00 Author: Epicurean Dreamer Posts: 224 |

"Doctor, Doctor!" "What is it, Doctor?" "Doctor, it appears this patient needs to focus on LBP2 instead of N*ntendo." "Yes, Doctor. On it, Doctor." "Good luck, Doctor." "Yes, Doctor." | 2011-08-02 02:36:00 Author: 49er Nation Posts: 429 |
It probably needs to be pointed out that you shouldn't get medical advice from anyone but a doctor. If you really think you have a persistent problem, schedule an appointment with your local physician. Could these symptoms be ultimately benign? Sure. But the last place you should be seeking medical advice is a forum about LittleBigPlanet. Talk to your parents, family members or friends for advice, not random people on the internet. | 2011-08-02 12:31:00 Author: schm0 Posts: 1239 |

That used to happen to me a lot as a teen, i would stand up and my vision would go white and i would suddenly feel very weak, i fainted one time. I never went to doctors though *drools on self* | 2011-08-11 15:47:00 Author: gigglecrab Posts: 232 |
Typically cause by low blood pressure. Nothing to worry about. The more water you drink the less this will occur. Also, as others have said try to change positions slowly so blood has time to reach your head. | 2011-08-11 17:22:00 Author: tanrockstan34 Posts: 1076 |
