Rhythm Heaven Wii

Archive: 9 posts

Seriously why isn't there a topic for this yet? The Rhythm Heaven Series is one of my all time favourite game frachises. If you haven't played the GBA and/or DS games then I strongly suggest you do, their fantastic.

Anyways I for one am very excited for the Wii version that was just released in Japan. There seems to be a lot of awesome ideas in there. Marching Birds? Golfing with a Baboon? Pigs spinnig around on chairs?? This game looks like the bee's knees.

I downloaded the demo for my DS and it was awesome. But I've sold both my DS and my Wii recently so I can't get the full versions of either. 2011-07-29 22:26:00

Rhythm Heaven? That game I got with my DSi on launch? That game was great, if a bit niche... I'l keep this on my radar.2011-07-30 22:16:00

I got the DS version recently for ?5 and am currently on Remix 4. I love it, but the marking is horrific, you have to get stupidly good to get a superb rating, and why do I have to wait for it to tell me to go for a perfect to get a perfect rating? Other than that though, it's great. My favourite game so far is Shoot 'Em Up.2011-08-02 14:51:00

Rhythm Heaven is probably one of the most addicting game that is on the Ds. I don't know how long I've spent trying to get a "Perfect". I think that the Wii version is pretty interesting, but I really liked the touch, tap, drag ideas for the ds, and the portability. Don't know that I'll like the Wii version as much..but will still look into it.2011-08-03 12:30:00

The Wii version is likely to be great due to the fact that it only uses buttons. This means that he timing will be more precise than the DS version.2011-08-05 12:48:00

Yeah I have to admit, the Ds version wasn't always as "precise" as I would have liked.2011-08-05 16:18:00

Aye, it doesn't register the flicks sometimes, which is annoying. Going for Perfects makes me rage so much, but it's so satisfying when you do.

Just finished Remix 6.

Glad your enjoying it. The original GBA version is extremely good though it's expensive to buy.2011-08-07 00:22:00
