Working for a month flat out, day and night, my entry to the current LBPC crown competition is an attempt by me to finally show the little big planet community what I'm capable of as a creator. Having had LBP2 since release but never actually publishing anything through my own (somewhat restrictive) high standards, I've finally yielded to pressure and poured my entire being into Genesis Armada. As a Versus online Multiplayer, 2, 3 or 4 players can match up in two teams set against eachother in a fast paced sci-fi themed twin stick shooter arena. Each team consisting of 4 unique ship classes complete with a deep set of controls, weapons and utilities, custom made to fit an individual role and play-style while each element being mutually dependent on all other roles/classes to perform the central aim of seeking and collecting resources while sabotaging the opponents attempts at doing the same. With a Scout, a Miner, a fighter and a Stealth Bomber; Doubling as an ECM (electronics counter measure) specialist, a defenses specialist, A medic and reconnaissance/saboteur respectively. Each team will have to stretch the concept of 'team work' to its limits as each player switches between any one of the 4 ships in the teams ship 'pool' at any moment on the fly, relying on each-other at instinct speeds to become which class they need to at the right moment in battle to perform one of the many intermingling strategical functions available in Genesis Armada. With an actual learning curve, an unusual depth for games in the LBP platform and real strategical scope. Genesis Armada is not a game for the feint of heart and will put your abilities to the test. I thought I'd give a nice long review, but who wants to read a wall of text . This is an awesome level. I don't think I've seen anything of the like done before, and there are hardly any bugs to speak of. Other than the few things I noticed while playing with you, there don't seem to be any issues. There's a great tutorial, incredible visual effects, and a very unique game design. One of my favourite LBPC2 entries so far. I do suggest playing 3-4 player though, since 2P doesn't have the same sense of action. <3 and from me.
