The game camera wants to stay on at least one player. All players outside the game camera's view will begin the countdown to death. So you definitely want the movie camera.

Set the Track Player option Off. This will remove the letterbox bars and give you the game camera style.

The game camera always is focused on a player alas,
The way around it is to set up your sackbot as you want. On his base chip place the game camera set to follow player 100%.
However, you will need a flat piece of holo set to brightness 0. on this place a follower, set to follow a matching tag on the sackbot, speed 100 and set to invisible in play mode.
Also on this holo place a transmitting controllinator but set it to be invisible in play mode.
So, essentially the player will follow thier sackbot, but will be totally invisible. So even though the camera is actually locked into following the player, all you will see in play mode is the sackbot with camera following them

Yep this is generally the way to go

Movie cameras great for cinematics (hence the name ), but they are a bad if you are making a multiplayer game for instance, as only one movie cam can be active at a time (meaning every player will see the same perspective ).

Using a gameplay camera and the approach Sean detailed, you will get the same (easy to work with) viewpoint as a normal game, which in most cases is preferable.

More than one movie Camera can be active at one time. But as far as i can tell it depends on how you have things set up. In my level (http://lbp.me/v/48j6cp) i have 4 Movie cameras running simultaneously. One for each player. It's a versus level a camera is set on each controlinator tha teach player sits in, each camera follows that player only.

Using movie cameras is much better than using game cameras this way because game cameras have a weird issue that makes the view of one camera make the perspective shift for all players.

Its a long standing glitch that MM still haven't got round to fixing.

So basically know that its ok to use movie cameras. You may need to use sackbots though as i don't know of any way to get a single camera follow a single sackboy intelligently. Using bots allows you to place logic within them for whatever a camera is set on to follow an individual bot permanently.

There are many tutorials on how to set up a level to play with sackbots 'invisibly' so the user never actually knows they are sackbots.
