From Kotaku: Looks like the Asian PlayStation website has spilled some beans. On *date is unconfimed*, the Hong Kong PSN will be getting not only a Solid Snake Sackboy, but a character and level pack as well. No prices are listed, but the items themselves most certainly are. There are individual sackboy costumes for Solid Snake, Meryl, Screaming Mantis and Raiden, a pack selling all four of those, and a "Level Pack", which looks like it includes stuff like creepy, over-sized manscenery. There's of course no mention of this on any other PlayStation website - including the notoriously leaky Japanese one - so there's no guarantee these will appear globally once Thursday rolls around. But every other LBP update has gone live globally, so keep your Kojima-caressing fingers crossed. Oh they are crossed! "So what I said to the team is that each of these packs that we do over the next year or so has to be shocking. These aren't little add-ons or side tweaks. These are like serious, game changing, massive -- how can we really mess with peoples' heads and change what they think about LBP. The first example of that is the Metal Gear Solid pack, which we just finished. I don't think that people are expecting what it's going to be and I'm so excited by that. The surprise element is just a big part of it. And that's just the beginning. We did that really soon after the game came out. I really hope people are constantly surprised and excited by what we do with it."

Since then, the release dates have been removed from the site (with no new date taking their place), so they may not be turning up this Thursday. So it's not a matter of if but when as they say.

Apparently the mgs pack will be "game changing" as in "omg can they do that with LBP?". Yea apparently. I'm keeping a bit of reserve on getting to excited. I do hope it is that great, but just awesome MGS LBP-swag is going to fulfill my expectations just fine. If it's more, than Mm will be one notch higher in my esteem (if that's even possible )
