Site idea :)

How about an idea of being able to upload pictures straight from your computer like the LBPlanetaruim site. Instead of uploading to LBP.me It'll make it much more easier to show instead of having them attched 2011-07-26 14:57:00

I think it's a server size or type issue. And as far as I know, in-game pictures can't be uploaded directly from the game to the site.2011-07-26 17:09:00

I think he was talking about uploading from his own PC/Mac. You can used to be able to cut and paste images directly from a document into the text editor.

I just tried it out and it's not working. Strange.

If you can get as far as attaching an image, then click "Preview Post", and you can copy the URL from the attachment link, which looks like this....

http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=35767&d=1311757926

...then just put that URL in an [IMG] tag like this...

http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=35767&d=1311757926

...and you end up with this...

TBH, you're probably better off using an external image hosting solution anyway. Due to bandwidth reasons, there are fairly limited size constraints on images uploaded to LBPC.

Upload to photobucket then just take the code from there.

Works like a charm.

Yup. I have a photobucket account I use every so often to host pics, too... For some reason I believed I was able to copy and paste directly from an image editor. The picture will appear in the text editor correctly, but it never gets uploaded to the site or linked because it most likely references a local file. I stand corrected.

You'll have to host externally or use the attachment feature.

I use Imageshack, you don't have to sign up. But yea, once you've uploaded it, put around it, so

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/c/c1/LittleBigPlanetOfficialUKBoxArt.png

becomes:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/c/c1/LittleBigPlanetOfficialUKBoxArt.png (without the space between the 'g' and the bracket).

and will appear as:
