So, I'm working on something new. I want it to be a pretty epic level overall. Right now, I've put together a demo for the purpose of collecting feedback and suggestions. I really don't want to give any details on the plot, I think I've got that part under control. I'm more interested on what people think of the visuals and how I can sculpt that region into perfection. This will be a 1-player experience entirely and I plan to work some logic into that to prevent more than 1 player breaking the level. I may create some kind of multiplayer minigame that everyone will warp to if there is more than 1 player. The only details I want to give away right now are that you will be playing as a demon, climbing his way out of hell. Yes, hell. I put a lot of work into coming up with the visual style, although I think you all can help me make it a lot better. I'm going to be spending a lot of time in create mode for this one, as I said I want it to be a pretty epic level and have an equally epic (or at least great) story. I left a comment. Nice art design, I like where it's going, but you need to really add a lot more decor around the level. Lava material everywhere looks cool, but it's not great. Nice and simple gameplay, but the hazards should be made into something other than plasma, it sounds strange. Also, since you are playing as a demon, perhaps some powers are deserved. Temporary flight, summon minions to form bridges, lift objects, etc (you could do quite a lot if you add minions. There's lots of potential there). It's hard to review, as it was short, and not much to play, but it was alright. F4F in my sig. Be sure to play online with another. EDIT: Ooops, noticed this isn't F4F.

I've actually added some abilities, like throwing fire... Which so far I've only used to destroy an obstacle and hanging bodies. I'm still testing a lot of stuff. I have some ideas for the lava, I don't like it much myself being ONLY lava. I plan to update the demo with a lot of the new stuff I added. I may get around to that sometime tomorrow morning or something. Thanks for your input.
