3D Sackboy

a 3D sackboy ready to be textured, rigged, then animated! I did this in Maya to practice modelling for an upcoming assignment at uni ^^

Looks like maya and mudbox to me... That, or blender. At least goofy looks like he was made in mudbox.

Ah. Did you use the sculpting feature in Maya for goofy? That's what made him look like a Mudbox project. the way his hat slopes up from his head. And that there are no seams I can see on his hat/head border, or with his eyes. When you rig this, I would recommend making his hat, head, and eyes all be separate objects parented to the head, that way you can rig eye movement. Basically, make the hat permanently attached to the top of his head, but still a separate object. It makes skinning and texturing less of a chore.

EDIT: Trust me... I am a film student, and I learned this the hard way in my fx courses.

Nope I just used the vertex editor and the other basic geometry editors

Yup the hat and eyes are already seperate pieces but parented to his body

Im yet to find a good texturing or rigging tut >.<
