Stupid GIMP!! ok i have signed up to most photo up loader sites and hell none of them work in some sites i can find my gimp sig but then it says invalided format! GAH!!! or in other sites i can not even find the sig in my documents what do i do!

i dont save under any format i just click save as then save it

Gimp saves your files as .gimp I believe, so all you have to do is change that .gimp or whatever it is to .png or another filetype the site can process. I had the same problem when I started out.

You're saving as .xml format, which only GIMP can understand. To upload to one of those websites, change the file extension to .png. It is best to save both, because if you want to make changes later you'll need the .xml file.

So open it back up then save again only like Thee-Flashsig.jpg ??

Yeah just like that just put .jpg after the title and you're kinda done. And people...... A Gimp file is a .xcf file! Just so you know

Yeah but you better save it first as .xcf and than .jpg so you stilll have the original file. To edit things when needed. ^And awnser to quistion^ when type in a name I think there isn't already .xcf behind the title but if it is delete it and put .jpg behind it.... hope you understand
