Well im making a level that invloves a sled that rides along Glass (Ice) but everytime I use the corner editor tool on the square to make the sled come down smoothly, Theirs always a bump that stops me and I fly forward, I was wondering two things, One how to fix this problem and Two whats the best material to use for the sled.2008-12-17 01:25:00

Yeah dude I kept getting this problem too, I really don't know how to make it perfectly smooth, a lot of trial and error I suppose.2008-12-17 01:49:00

I've found that sometimes if you fiddle around with a shape enough you can make a tiny, tiny corner mid-path which you don't even notice.

It's best to use grid mode to try and make things as perfectly smooth as possible.

The corner editing tool might also highlight any little bumps as well.

As for material... well, pretty much anything slides on glass. It does not have to be glass itself. More mass means more friction though, so that's something to be aware of. I prefer to use lighter materials like sponge, cardboard and polystyrene.

Make sure you're not making the "ramp" out of just one or two blocks. Use many multiple ones so it's easier to use the corner edit tool on. Then you can just stick them all together when you are completed.

You may find this easier. Perhaps not. Perhaps so. Perhaps.

use the corner editing tool, highlight a corner and click on it, afterward use the R1 and L1 buttons to go the the next corner, for any unwanted ones just click triangle to delete it and walah you got a smooth surface, oh and make sure the bottom of the sled is glass and the top is grab able

Cheers!
