| Thanks again spotlight crew for being selected. I am truly honored that I got a double spotlight!! In regards to the size of the spotlight being slim this time, I think it means one of two things. Either the community needs to put their thinking caps on start stepping up their game or.... Big things are just around the corner. I'd like to think the later is the case! | Kudos to all the spotlighted levels. Awesome to see two of my favorite levels of the past two weeks, 'Space Assassins 2' and 'Blocks', make the list. To the spotlight crew, I know you guys are working hard on the backlog and do an awesome job on the spotlights but Man! I think the spotlight is missing two great levels (of course just my opinion) that should have been spotlighted already. Unless I'm confused on the dates and you just haven't played them yet. The levels are Time Exile by Gigglecrab and The Puzzling Power Plant by Insomnia-fm. Things are slowing down over there a bit at the moment due to some of the volunteers taking a break (they'll be back, don't worry) so it's possible we haven't reached them yet. Puzzling Power Plant is indeed in the backlog, as it was published before the end of April. | In answer to that Gawdl3y - if an updated version of a level is significantly different to the first, then yes I don't see why it wouldnt be in with a chance. But, speaking only from my own point of view of course, if a level remake is pretty much the same thing, I wouldn't really consider it tbh. A remake has to really up the ante to keep me enthralled - however you have an advantage of a nice, simplistic premise which can be modified however you like - the possibillities for powerups etc are endless I look foward to seeing what you have in store | 2011-07-29 23:56:00 Author: rialrees Posts: 1015 |
