Hi everyone. For some reason alot of the free items don't appear in the store. So I can't buy them. My friends all have these items. This happens to the old and new free costumes. Does anyone know how to fix this. Becouse I realy want these costumes/items.

I know some costumes dont appear in store have you tried going on to LBP then into the store from there?

Yes I tried that. But is it possible that they do appear in the LBP1 store? I don't think so but I will give it a try.

Most of the free costumes are time based and are only availible on certain holidays for a week or two, you will simply have to wait until the time of year when they are re-released. However there are four (I think) contest winning costumes which are also free that are available on the store all year round

What Dav1d0 said - they're available for a limited time only, and sometimes limited regions. For example the most recent free costume, Sacktue of Liberty (name?) was available for about 10 days around the 4th of July. Santa Claus is available for two weeks during Christmas, the Irish Leprechan during St Patricks Day, and so forth. I was disappointed that I could not get the free Slurpee costume (7/11 campaign) because I'm in a foreign country, despite 7/11 being very popular here. It was exclusive to the United States. There were also some free costumes meant to be available before the PSN hack in May that were only released in the United Kingdom. To my knowledge that was a mistake that was never fixed, due to various circumstances. Just check the store regularly! It's much easier to browse in-game with the new update, less chance of missing a freebie. (I was not a fan of the "planet" pages that buried certain DLC way in the back, or the middle, despite it being brand new) (sometimes you couldn't even find it in LBP, you had to exit to the Playstation Store and look for Add-Ons that way!).

Okay, but one little question: Is this costume also time based? http://www.psu.com/media/littlebigplanet-/littlebigplanet--ss-227.jpg Becouse this is one of the costumes that I can't buy. If it isn't time based, then there is something wrong in my store.

I don't think your store is broken, if that's what you mean. Yes, the Solstice costume is time-based. It's still showing up in the LBP DLC listing: http://www.littlebigplanet.com/en/game_guide/ps3/downloadable_content/solstice_costume/ It's the 25th where I'm at, 10 days past the date the costume was made available. I didn't notice it in the game or on PSN yesterday, hmm. It could be similar to the Hessian Fragrances problem, where it was listed as LBP DLC but only showed up in the UK store. You might want to quickly create a UK account and try to download it that way! It'll be shareable among all profiles on your PS3.
