Well, today a glitch was leaked that lets people play patch 1.00 online. That means free DLC, overlord, etc. etc... all of that is back. The worst part is that it's literally impossible to patch. Bye bye, LBP2 community's sanity. Goodbye worth of rare DLC, like crowns. Goodbye normal game sessions.

not impossible to patch.....all they have to do is take the 1.00 servers away, like how they did with uncharted.....& you can't playe LBP2 levels since most of them were made after 1.00...

You still can But you could get DLC you didn't own with it. You can't now, you get a message saying you don't own DLC in the costume and it won't let you wear it.

The most disheartening thing is seeing the thousands of plays crap levels get on cool page, many creaters have quit because of it. Most casual lbp gamers will probaly only be clicking MM picks and cool page, what with the new levels icon being so well hidden. It should be right on the menu with cool pages and mm picks.

The worst part is that it's literally impossible to patch. what the hell you talking about? They can easily patch it by make new version incompatible with 1.00, make something that for 1.00 will be broken and for new version be normal. They can also make server to not accept 1.00 clients by adding extra requirment to connect to server. Things like that are easiest to patch or else you guys talking about Jailbreak.

Agreed that we are being a bit dramatic but who is going to patch it? MM are stepping away. Will they still patch this before they go. Who knows, I just find it strange that Mm have given us tools strong enough to 'jailbreak' the game.

Stepping away does not = no longer supporting LBP. where do some of you people learn to read? MM already said they won't be stopping support for LBP. they are just not putting as much attention as they were before on it. and you guys do know that It's not even the main MM group themselves most of the time who fixes the bugs right? that's a different sub-team that do it from what i heard. basically LBP will be supported mainly by all the different sub-teams from now on. Anything they have in a LBP1 level can potentially be captured. overlord doesn't give you capturing powers....you can only capture the 2 tutorials because they had capture tools in them & if your smart enough you can figure out how to capture them, because it's not that easy for the one 8^)

One note thru, there not such thing as 1.00 server, there only one game server, it's simply compatible with 1.05, same as older US beta was compatible with newer EU beta. To fix it, as i said they will need to add extra step in login process that 1.00 wont do it and break it. Most likely whole situation (if it's true ;p) will delay turn on of hiscore

You know how this game is screwed? It's not because of the glitches and whatnot. It's doomed simply because MM doesn't put efforts in it anymore and are busy making another almost identical game on the PS Vita. Where's all the awesome DLC like we had with LBP1? Nowhere. And the team over there at MM is bigger now and richer now that it ever was. They also said they drop the ball on the IP and will devellop other and different games now. EDIT: oh and I know about the move pack. It's the first awesome DLC. It's just that it's been forever in devellopment and there's no sign of any other good DLC coming while there was alot of planned stuff in advance with LBP1.

In fact i belive LBP works on HTTP, since game it self shows symptoms of downsides of this protocol, which explains they it's so compatible. You know how this game is screwed?
