How do I recreate a known tune in the music sequencer?

| Hello. I don't know that much about music, but I'm pretty good at making music with LBP2's music sequencer by just creating free hand, by ear. I'm most likely not going to be able to explain this very well at all, since I know so little about music, but stay with me. How do I go about recreating a known song or tune with the sequencer? MY issue: I need the chorus for 'My Heart Will Go On' by Celine Dion to loop during a segment of my level. I don't want a very dynamic, polished song at all. I'm only going to use one intrument and the chorus is just going to loop. Did anyone ever try to play 'Mary Had A Little Lamb' on a piano when they were younger? You would just use one finger going 'doot doot doot' on the keys to play the song. THAT'S all I want for 'My Heart Will Go On'. That simple. But I don't know what keys I'm supposed to hit. | Hi The whole making a decent piece of music thing can be tricky to do. Hmmmm If you look around the internet you can probably find the notes you want. A good guide when doing music is first to find the tempo of the piece you want to write. and then lay down a simple hi-hat beat. And construct your song from there. If you want the chorus to play and loop at a certain place, have your proper sequenced song playing on a sequencer then make a new music sequencer with just the chorus on loop on it. Then have a player sensorwired into the 'chorus sequencer' so as the player is in range of this the chorus plays and loops. Hope that helps mate  | 2011-07-23 04:20:00 Author: Sean88  Posts: 662 |
