How Do I Delete A Thread
Archive: 7 posts
Trying to delete the copies of my levels that have posted on there own because I am on an Iphone how do I do this | 2011-07-20 02:58:00 Author: Unknown User |
From the Board FAQ: Can I edit or delete my posts? If you have registered and are logged in, you may be able to edit and delete your posts (although the administrator may have turned off this option). Your ability to edit your posts may be time-limited, depending on how the administrator has set up the forum. To edit or delete your posts, click the Edit button by the particular post. If your post was the first in the thread, then deleting it may remove the entire thread. Once you've made your modifications, a note may appear to inform other users that you have edited your post. If the edit time and date appear as a link you can click on this to see the differences between the original and edited versions, or between edits if there have been multiple edits. | 2011-07-20 04:00:00 Author: Marioface5 Posts: 73 |
You cannot... Some boards may allow for users to delete their threads. However, all forums that I was a member of, only moderators and administrators could delete threads. I would strongly believe that is the case here as well, as there is nothing on deleting them in view. You CAN delete your own posts though. I don't think you can though if it's the first post of a thread. (Which is what it is in your case.) Just select "Edit Post" and then click "Go Advanced" from there. You should see an option to delete your post. Edit: Well, I was a few seconds later than Marioface5. I guess you can delete your own thread by just deleting your post after all! | 2011-07-20 04:01:00 Author: xRystar Posts: 39 |
And if that doesn't work, you can always have a moderator come and lock up the thread for you. When it is properly locked, it prevents any member from posting in this thread, thus allowing the thread to be pushed back into the archives and never seeing the light of day again. | 2011-07-20 04:16:00 Author: Cheddars Posts: 447 |

Ya some areas of the forum you can delete your own threads and others need a mod or admin to delete it. If it's just an old level thread it's fine to just leave it be and it will fall down too far for most people to see without a deliberate search. If it's something that really needs to be deleted, send a pm to one of the mods or report the first post in the thread with an explanation that you want it locked or deleted. | 2011-07-20 10:29:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
Yeah, you have to get a mod to delete it for you. | 2011-07-20 13:47:00 Author: zzmorg82 Posts: 948 |
