So the Megaman MMO was cancelled.... Fine, I was looking forward to t, but not that much, seemed like a good idea, pity. They're rebotting Devil May Cry for the Twilight Fans... Ok that one annoys me a lot more, wth Capcom, the series was doing great, why the reboot, AND with those guys who make non-DMC-like games and could be one o the worse choices for the reboot? Now this? Come on man, just...come on! Did Capcom just troll its own fanbase? Granted, there's likely some internal politics we're not aware of that lead to this decision, but still. Q.Is the cancellation of MML3 related to the departure of Inafune-san? A. The cancellation of the MML3 project is in no way related to Inafune-san leaving the company. *cough* This is almost as bad as Square-Enix starting production on an FFVII remake and then going "LOL n00bs, we lied. I've been casting a bitter glance at capcom ever since Re4 was made gamcube exclusive. Granted it came to ps2 eventually, but was still a slap in the face for the loyal Re playstation fans.

Ouch, that's pretty harsh. It sounded like a great idea and I hadn't heard too much on it other than fans were involved, and I was still in deep shock when I read the article. That's pretty harsh, and that picture Marioface5 posted really shows that they clearly are more concerned by profit than anything else. So they start canceling games they have to develop themselves? And keep the games that have co-developers to do all the work? Megaman Universe and Legends 3 were about the only completely in-house games they had going, far as I know anyway. Trying to become a publisher rather than a developer? ???????????????????????????????????????????????? I was active on Unity a while back. When they asked for robot designs people put all they had into it. And I'm pretty sure the prize was just having your name buried in the ending credits. And they were genuinely excited about the game and were showing actual support. (not like other sites such Sega where people think its just a soap box for really mindless complaints, oh well that site was hacked or something) ????????????????????????????????????????????????? CURSES! I must change the color scheme of my ava and sig to be somehow anti Capcom colors. But...I'm...too.. lazy.

I can think of quite a few games franchises that exist that have just gotten 'more shiney' with each itteration though. Snake Pliskin or Mario being obvious examples. I was never really into MegaMan though - they all seemed very "samey"

There's also Dead Rising 2 different playable character edition. Re-releasing games with a few changes is nothing new for Capcom they were always doing it with Street Fighter in the 90's.

I don't like how much DLC costs these days. You wouldn't want to pay five bucks for each optional DLC character, don't you? Jill and Shuma-Gorath both cost five dollars per character in vanilla MvC3. 5 US dollars times 12 new characters if they're going to be DLC = 60 US dollars. I think Capcom was supposed to release those characters and major patch updates one at the time, so I bet there wasn't going to be all-in DLC pack or something. It could've been worse. Capcom also mentioned that it will be on low retail price during launch (39.99$, not any info about € With new additions like Spectator mode, better netcode, massive balance patch (that could have been already in vanilla MvC3 in patches) and other little goods like stages and alternate colours, I thinks it's bargain only for those who didn't get vanilla MvC3 For me It's going to be same old game but better with sweet lookin' box cover art (http://27.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lon4nuwSEv1qbeun9o1_500.jpg).
