Okay so lately, I've been scrolling through the cool levels looking for levels to play, but then suddenly i'll get a random join request from COMPLETE STRANGERS. I mean the first time it happened I just ignored it. But then it kept happening and happening. It's getting very irritating. This has been going on for about a week now... Has this happened to anyone else? Or is this just me...And how can I stop it. WHAT IS GOING ON!!! :eek:

It is probably people diving in on you when you happen to be in the pod. Although I have noticed a drastic jump in the amount of requests I receive.

It's been happening to me too. I thought the only people who could ask to join me in my pod were the people on my friends list, but clearly that's not the case anymore.

if u go on a players profile u can invite them... i dont know if u can join them tho. also, i have had randomers enter my pod... and i have been a randomer entering their pods. it happens when they press dive in, it says asking to join whoever, and u end up in their pod. wierd. it does have its ups tho.. who knows who u will meet..... future best friend? maybe......

^ No. every since i've had LBP2 this has happened to me so many bloody times... and no i was not playing a level nor did I before it happen everytime. I'm just sitting there creating on my moon then I leave to go to a different moon slot then boom! random join request from people I don't know while I'm in my pod... it's so annoying. *mew

They changed the Dive in mechanics in LBP2. People can dive in on you while you are in your pod, however they won't be able to if you set yourself to auto-reject.

I've been geting these too, and it can't be dive in, because I have that set to auto-reject. 'Tis a serious agrivation.

You can turn one on and other off. The problem is, if you're playing with a friend and that friend's friend asks to join, He will be rejected. (Unless your friend is the host or the other friend is on your list)

Aye, this is not a lie what happ.ened to me. I was in my pod, talking to a friend, and Deadtro1 randomly joined me... I didn't invite him. I just signed out of PSN tho.

Yeah, I looked at a profile recently and there's an option to join or invite them if they're online. It's best to set your settings to "Auto Reject" strangers if you don't want to see those messages, but, if you're playing with a friend, their friend won't be able to join either since they are classified as "strangers" too.

Yeah, I've been getting a lot of random join requests too. It's just probably the dive in thing though. Use auto-reject if you don't want to receive anymore of those messages. Not really a big deal to me unless if it's the spammers, people who excessively save MY objects in create mode, team slappers, trolls, or users who are always talking and not doing anything else.

I've experienced the other side of this, actually. Sometimes when trying to join others in a level I'll be launched into someone's pod when they're doing something completely unrelated to the level I was trying to play.

But even then you cant trust your friend's friends. They're not always trustworthy. but as a option you could turn off or on it be Greeeeat!
