Is it just me or do people who play online not like playing with others?
Archive: 10 posts
Hello, all! I've recently been having a really hard time trying to get multiplayer prize bubbles because nobody seems to ever accept my join requests. Every time I try to play a level with other people, I either get rejected or the request times out. It's not an automatic rejection either, as I've noticed a different message came up for the one time that was the case. What's going on? Do people just not like playing with others? | 2011-07-16 06:15:00 Author: Marioface5 Posts: 73 |
Some people are either busy, want to ace a level, or are just shy. I don't know how or why they press "Play Online", but they do it. I've noticed that some people that have online guests think that "Play Online" is the only way to play a level without ditching the guests. I used to think that . Try inviting local friends over or inviting some PSN friends. If you still need help, I won't mind helping you out | 2011-07-16 06:33:00 Author: Sackpapoi Posts: 1195 |
thats happened to me before, but it's probably just a little problem of whos online... and what i mean by that is if the person you are trying to join has someone on his moon he probabaly wont join bcuz he rather hang out with his other friend. But say no one is online with him, thats when he'll be free, either that or they're working on a major project. | 2011-07-16 06:35:00 Author: fighterwindplus Posts: 403 |
I think people playing story levels online ought to accept requests more readily... we have a shared goal of getting all those delicious prizes! I always have my settings on auto-reject when I play community levels, no idea what message is sent out to people. I'm always happy to play through 2x-4x areas so friend me and if you see me online, give me a shout! (erm, text!) | 2011-07-16 18:00:00 Author: Unknown User |
If you choose to play on your own, you can still get join requests. Question answered. | 2011-07-16 18:04:00 Author: octopus_567 Posts: 116 |
I tend to like playing myself more. If I need a multiplayer prize ill ask my brother if its x4 then there is a problem. I dont really like playing online. In LBP1 when I tried to get the x4 bits the people I was playing with were either reluctant to help or very, very slow to catch onto what to do. | 2011-07-16 18:04:00 Author: craigmond Posts: 2426 |
You are better off using your friends. A lot of people online aren't competent enough to understand what those areas want you to do. If you need someone to help you out, add me. PSN same as my name. | 2011-07-16 18:17:00 Author: Captain_Dinosaur Posts: 214 |
I get join requests from complete strangers all the time, regardless of my settings, even in pod. I refuse most of them because.. they're strangers | 2011-07-16 20:15:00 Author: Radishlord Posts: 706 |

Well if anyone needs those x3+ from anywhere, look me up, I know I need a bunch, don't know which (should prob sort that out!) but I'll happily lend a hand I find it fun playing multiplayer! Even tho there are times I just wanna solo, but I normally change my options accordingly before getting into it. And like OP, was after an X3 on the train lvl and spent I dunno how long trying and retrying to join others, even idled a bit right under the bubbles with my other contr on just waiting for someone to drop in and then grab um .... | 2011-07-16 23:50:00 Author: Masseyf Posts: 226 |
