Pixeljunk Shooter 2

Is anyone still playing this game? I have it, but I don't play it that often because noone is online and I beat adventure mode. I'm also contributing to the noone is online problem by not playing it. Terrible cycle, isn't it? So, is anyone a fan of the game and knows the activity and whatnot?2011-07-16 03:21:00

I just bought it the other day, and it's awesome! I haven't beat adventure mode yet, but the online seems pretty active right now, and it's awesome!2011-07-16 03:34:00

Active? Great. As they say in COD, now to pwn some noobs.

Also, about the game, I love the bosses. Plenty of stages. And the music is cool too.

Is it worth it? I played the first one a lot, got all trophies and it is my favorite PSN game. Should I buy the sequel, is it too much different? Are the old perfection goals (finding gems, saving little men) back?2011-07-18 23:04:00

It's the same + some additional gameplay elements.

Got a trophy for all regular and special survivors and diamonds for each chapter (and a recent patch added the ability to see if there's any left in the level).

It's definitely a hoot...sometimes a bit of a screaming frustrating hoot, but still...

There's a little bit in the way of added features and functionality, and they've played around a bit with bullet-hell type stages/enemies (if that's good or bad is up to you). If you enjoyed the first game, you won't be disappointed here...in fact, to my mind at least, your ship handles a bit more smoothly this time around...going back and playing Shooter1 felt downright clunky.

The only real down side for me was that they tied three of the trophies to onine play...being over here, it'S tough to hook up with enough players to actually get them (doesn't seem to be so popular on this side of the world).
