Tactical gunner. He makes epic songs, and epicer levels. | 2011-07-15 18:56:00 Author: Cactii ![]() Posts: 426 |
I nominate Foofles, he makes original songs as opposed to covers (Except the Nyan Cat one). | 2011-07-15 20:07:00 Author: Flamento ![]() Posts: 352 |
I'm going to nominate Duxy87 and TheLittleSoAndSo. They may not make much, but what they do put together is great. When I publish my merc' level (was supposed to be yesterday, will probably be by end of today), the music is made by them ![]() Maybe I'm a little biased though.... | 2011-07-15 20:37:00 Author: SSTAGG1 ![]() Posts: 1136 |
Who couldn't love weirdybeardy? I nominate him. | 2011-07-15 20:57:00 Author: FlipMeister ![]() Posts: 631 |

Nunsmasher is maybe not the most... technical. But he delivrarrs. He is quick as ****snacks and does a great job. | 2011-07-15 21:29:00 Author: poorjack ![]() Posts: 1806 |

Hilightnotes or weirdybeardy. | 2011-07-15 23:46:00 Author: KQuinn94Z ![]() Posts: 1758 |
I nominate Foofles, hilightnotes and Festerd_Jester. | 2011-08-09 18:50:00 Author: weirdybeardy ![]() Posts: 123 |
hilightnotes, festerd_jester, sevenisacannibal, Stunkel, and a few others I can't remember. But those are just my favorites. Is there really any objectivity in this? | 2011-08-09 19:34:00 Author: comishguy67 ![]() Posts: 849 |
Foofles and A_Morton (or Mr_T-Shirt as he's known here!) And they both created music for my level series! <3 | 2011-08-09 19:51:00 Author: Plasmavore ![]() Posts: 1913 |
For covers, Tabycatmeow. For original songs, Hilignotes (the only one I have heard until now). | 2011-08-09 23:55:00 Author: gdn001 ![]() Posts: 5891 |
oLMCo of course. He was very impressive back in LBP1. | 2011-08-10 02:07:00 Author: Shadowstarkirby ![]() Posts: 205 |
Heh. At this point there doesn't seem to be a need for the poll. Which is for the best. As an appreciation thread this is great for finding new musicians. As a popular vote, Foofles already wins for number of mentions. ![]() | 2011-08-10 02:31:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |
Tactical gunner. He makes epic songs, and epicer levels. Isn't comishguy67 made songs for him? (at least in the beta) | 2011-08-10 03:51:00 Author: Shadowriver ![]() Posts: 3991 |
Isn't comishguy67 made songs for him? (at least in the beta) Yeah ![]() But he deleted anyway cuz it made his level lag. But it's on my youtube page if you wanna hear it. | 2011-08-10 04:12:00 Author: comishguy67 ![]() Posts: 849 |
2 more nominations, though this is really just a thread to post great music creators. - comishguy67 - Fading_Monkey | 2011-08-10 05:55:00 Author: SSTAGG1 ![]() Posts: 1136 |
I quite like Festerd-Jester, even though some of his songs sound very emo-synthy. Foofles is great, along with Stunkel. But the best music creator by far is me. Honestly..... I'm awesome ![]() I'm actually looking for some original tracks for my new level, might have to check out some of these creators levels to see if there's any that suit my level (full credit willl be given of course). I'm hoping they all music showcases with freebies ![]() | 2011-08-10 08:55:00 Author: Ali_Star ![]() Posts: 4085 |
NessInEagleland was one of the best i have heard. Too bad i lost the battle theme he made for me a while back. I can second--or third Foofles, though. and nk827 is pretty good too. Ill have to try out some of the other ones i see here though ![]() | 2011-08-10 17:29:00 Author: Rpg Maker ![]() Posts: 877 |
Most of my favourite music creators have already been mentioned here except for Trashmoustache who deserves a mention for the "Madness Is An Option" soundtrack. | 2011-08-12 17:27:00 Author: D-E-S_87 ![]() Posts: 148 |
I nominate Sevenisacannibal. And a little bit of myself because i'm arrogant. | 2011-08-12 19:40:00 Author: ishotthesherrif ![]() Posts: 101 |
*cough* http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f277/schm01978/down.png /runs (kidding, of course) All of the musicians mentioned previously are fantastic, and I even found a couple more I hadn't heard of! So, as of right now, my vote is up in the air! | 2011-08-12 20:03:00 Author: schm0 ![]() Posts: 1239 |
I nominate Sevenisacannibal. And a little bit of myself because i'm arrogant. Well he was good only in transcribing existing songs (probably from midi) to the game (which is great skill too), but i didn't see him composing any ![]() | 2011-08-12 20:26:00 Author: Shadowriver ![]() Posts: 3991 |
I would however like to nominate schm0. ![]() | 2011-08-12 20:27:00 Author: tanrockstan34 ![]() Posts: 1076 |

OMG! another "look at me I'm the best EVAR thread!" ![]() I mean, this is not the way to post a discussion that could be interesting, because it looks like a competition instead of a way to let more music creators to be recognized. | 2011-08-13 10:25:00 Author: OmegaSlayer ![]() Posts: 5112 |
OMG! another "look at me I'm the best EVAR thread!" ![]() I mean, this is not the way to post a discussion that could be interesting, because it looks like a competition instead of a way to let more music creators to be recognized. Actually, this thread sorta-kinda inspired me to create a "musician's guild" here on LBPC... with a level hub and all sorts of stuff for members and collaborations, actual competitions, that sort of thing... (would anyone be interested in such a thing?) Heh. At this point there doesn't seem to be a need for the poll. Which is for the best. As an appreciation thread this is great for finding new musicians... Indeed, this thread also allowed me to check out some of the music of some composers in LBP2 I haven't yet seen, so there's that. | 2011-08-13 15:39:00 Author: schm0 ![]() Posts: 1239 |
comishguy67 and Foofles. Honorable Mention: AarontheEpic ![]() | 2011-08-13 16:21:00 Author: 49er Nation ![]() Posts: 429 |
So, I was going through this list, and either the some of the PSN names are not valid or the creator hasn't published any music under their name: ROBBIESCREW1986 (???) TheLittleSoandSo (PSN: Wayneiscool) Nunsmasher (PSN: iiNunsmash3r) TheJollyRajah (Famous for work in LBP1, anything for LBP2?) I could use some help finding these creators or the work they've done in other people's levels in LBP2 (if any.) Creators with some sort of published music under their PSN in LBP2: Tabycatmeow Foofles festerd_jester Duxy87 weirdybeardy Hilightnotes SevenIsaCannibal Stunkel A_Morton (only one published music video level, though) oLMCo (one music level) comishguy67 Fading_Monkey Ishotthesherrif AarontheEpic and me So, yeah, that's a lot of music! | 2011-08-13 18:12:00 Author: schm0 ![]() Posts: 1239 |
So, yeah, that's a lot of music! Don't forget me! ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4jhq56f8j4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t29c2aLqyEM I am making music in retail LBP2 but I'm stockpiling it all up for releasing it later. ![]() | 2011-08-13 20:19:00 Author: warlord_evil ![]() Posts: 4193 |
wayneiscool has only made 2 songs that I know of in LBP2. I've got them both if you'd like to hear them. They're actually what I usually listen to when creating ![]() ![]() | 2011-08-13 22:09:00 Author: SSTAGG1 ![]() Posts: 1136 |

Hey schm0, would I be able to use one of your tracks for my level? I'm gonna check out your level, lemurboy. BTW, there's a link to my music/platform/puzzle hybrid level down below. Not a lot of songs there. But it includes "Mystic Cave Zone" from Sonic 2, the theme from the tv show FRINGE, one of the songs from LOST, and some of my own stuff. It's all given away at the end, shoud you manage to complete the relevant sections. The level itself is rather basic though. | 2011-08-15 12:04:00 Author: Ali_Star ![]() Posts: 4085 |
I could care less about the competition part of the thread, but I'd like to mention a couple of my favorites for those who (like me) are using this to find more music creators. ![]() ~Arexion creates tons of awesome, original music as well as some great covers/remixes. ~Hardsync makes some brilliant, atmospheric music (all original as far as I know.) | 2011-08-15 12:42:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |
Finally a mention for HardSync, he's done three tracks for the level I'm working on, all amazing and original ![]() ![]() Worked with Hiilightnotes to, he got good skills to ![]() | 2011-08-15 12:51:00 Author: GruntosUK ![]() Posts: 1754 |

I'm not sure who for best, but some of my favorites are Fyshokid (http://lbp.me/u/Fyshokid), Festerd_Jester (http://lbp.me/u/Festerd_Jester), and Fading_Monkey (http://lbp.me/u/Fading_Monkey) (lot of F's). I'm sorta happy to be the first one to mention sakusaku-_-y (http://lbp.me/u/sakusaku-_-y/levels). He/She only has a few levels, but I really like them a lot ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1wEXyZEfWI | 2011-08-17 02:51:00 Author: maddoggnick96 ![]() Posts: 272 |
oLMCo and hemflowhotflop. While neither of them have anything published, they both have some really great music on hand. I worked on a colaboration peice with them (screwing about) and my bits were the worst, yet they still managed to make it sound good (because I can't make music for the life of me). | 2011-08-17 03:02:00 Author: JamesDNaux ![]() Posts: 757 |
It's definitely a matter of taste. No "talented" musician is better than any other! Thank you for the mention though ![]() | 2011-08-17 12:28:00 Author: Festerd_Jester ![]() Posts: 53 |
It's definitely a matter of taste. No "talented" musician is better than any other! Thank you for the mention though ![]() Exactly. We all should learn to respect each others unique skills for what they are, instead of stroking our egos and making everything a silly competition. There is no "best music creator" and to say the least, the thread title should be changed to "Favorite LBP2 music creators". | 2011-08-19 05:13:00 Author: comishguy67 ![]() Posts: 849 |
