Yea the mods and admins have a good thing to write on their resum? from working on this site. I'd say they'd have a good shot at the Community Manager position!

I think I'll send my CV actually for the level design position, I'm formed as a fashion designer, which seems irrelevant, but let me tell you, I can name most of the fabrics that are used in the game to create the Sackboys (in french though, but I have a self made book with all the translations ). I live in Canada, so not the most obvious choice, but as a Canadian, I can work in the UK (seen as how we're still "linked" through the Queen!). I think I've said this before, but yea, I would move tomorrow to go work for such an awesome team. And video games are becoming a pretty huge industry, so now would be a good time to jump on the wagon!

I wish I was a bit more experienced at level design, or else I would try out for that. Then I wouldn't have to worry about profile size limits

I wonder where the job would be located?

I'm of legal working age, I'm creative, I'm a programmer and I live here in the UK. Oh, and I want to be a game developer too.

Hehe, sound great! Pity I'm going to keep on in education all the way through to universty though, I would love to work with MM. Maybe I'll take a gap year from education and apply to work with them, when I leave Academy this summer.

That would truly be awesome.

I knew they'd start advertising for someone, they've been calling me and calling me soooooo much lately begging me to come work with them and I keep turning them down. I knew they'd get the message in the end.
I think what topped it off for them was when they offered me Alex Evans job and I still refused.
These people have just got to learn that I won't leave LBPC

I'd die for that level designer job. I think I meet many of the criteria, only I have no experience working a game before in a team. You'd need to adapt and listen and work with the gang! Nothing is impossible.2008-12-19 01:04:00

Send my portfolio last week,
but since I dont go online that much.
(arm problems for about 1.5 year) my portfolio is outdated and my server is offline).
I had to send the files trough yousendit.. I hate that.

Its kinda anoying, one moment you have an internship @ the chronicles of spellborn.. and just after finishing your last few months working on your final project..
your arms go.. crack.. break.. kggg.. ache..
constantly for more than a year now...

Also explained that in my email,
hence I feel my chances are 100% nihil.
But then again,
I do have the knowledge and experience that would not only be valueble for MM but most companies.

Im not certain of much, but that I am certain of!
even If I will never get back at working with pc's.

If it weren't for the fact I'm 15 I'd love a job at Mm.

I wish there was a testing place open, for 15 year olds. I could do that. I play sooo many games and find glitches and stuff.

Srsly. I don't care how old you are, champagne tastes good.

Finding glitches in the game isn't the problem, it's fixing them in the code, and searching through tens of thousands lines of code... it isn't easy to find the error.

So many people saying "I'd love to but I'm not old enough. ".

I'm sure you've got the impressive portfolios, extremely creative, proven experience with level design and talented artist checkboxes all ticked. It's just the age issue? :S

Haha, I appreciate the nomination. If I was a) older, b) had college experience under my belt, and c) managed this site for longer than I have (it's almost been 6 months), then I'd actually meet their requirements. Oh, and I'm halfway around the world from them (I'd move to the UK to work for them though!).

Free Radical have gone belly up in the UK. They made Timesplitters and Haze and the like, many of them worked on Goldeneye for Rare on N64. I would have thought that many people from their studios will be snapped up by other development houses in the UK, MM included.

Your chances have just seriously decreased I would have thought unfortunatly.
