Omerta, a Lamb of God cover.

Archive: 9 posts

This was my first music sequencer that I actually invested a good bit of time on. I play guitar myself so music is a big part of my life. I have tons of other sequencers, but this one currently stands out above the rest. It is, exactly what it says, a cover of Omerta by Lamb of God. So, check it out if you're a fan of their music, if you like metal, or just like music in general. Just playing the level will reward you with the Omerta sequencer, and a clip of Grace, which is also a Lamb of God cover I'm working on. If you don't care to listen and only want the rewards, just jump on the skip button and you will be taken to the exit. I hope you all enjoy, and if you have any tips on how to make the sequencer better please let me know.

i'm a big metal fan and got to meet lamb of god when they played with slayer here a few years ago, i was really impressed with how cool and down to earth they were so i thought before heading to bed i'd turn down venom and give this a listen, its really good and anyone listening would assume you played either guitar or drums. i can't use a sequencer to save my life .. the only tip i have is to make a stage for the song? like something similar to a set from one of their shows instead of just the black flag. sounds brilliant though, well done and good night = )

p.s. i tried the start of your digital level it looks great and look what option i went for ..lol. i'll try it properly tomorrow = )

i don't really like lamb of god too much. just a few songs. i find them to be boring. but i checked this out anyway. was good. the only thing id suggest for the sequencer is maybe add some more effects if you add reverb to the drums and select the cathedral option it gives the drums a nice live sound effect. i use it often.

Thanks for the feedback. I play guitar, want a drum set Anyway, I'll try to brainstorm a good stage or short level (something that'll run the length of the song) to make it a little less boring. Also, I'll tweak the reverb and stuff when I get home from work and republish. Once again, thanks for the feedback.2011-07-15 19:25:00

I'm not really a fan of Lamb of God, but having tried the sequencer a number of times for a number of hours ... and failing miserably, I remain impressed with your effort. I think you could probably put a good level together to go along with the music

Done. I republished with some ideas I had in mind. I will add to it and update as I come up with more ideas.

I played with the reverb and other settings, the changes I made were minor, but I think for the better. Thanks. Also, I have your level in queue.

Thanks for the feedback, and I queued your level.

I think anyone could maybe enjoy collecting the stars I added to the level... Especially people that like things that go "splat" and give you points at the same time It's at least something to do while you listen, although I haven't created enough of a level to last the whole song. Thanks again everyone.

I second that I'd love to see some Iron Maiden covers in LBP2 myself.

I don't recall ever listening to Devil Driver, and what I know of Iron Maiden is... Not much at all. I would cover Metallica before the others. Anyway, can we stick to feedback on *this* level please? Thanks.2011-07-22 20:19:00
