Perfect Conditions?
Archive: 41 posts
So, this may well be the most random & pointless thread you've ever seen on these boards. Anyhow, the question is ; What are your perfect conditions for playing a brand new game (This would be LBP obv ) Mine would be - Room spotless Raining Outside ( I like the sound...It's soothing ) Night time (Easier to see TV, makes it cosier LOL) My chair broken (Which it is, there used to be a limit on how far the seat would lean back, I can go 90 degrees now if I wanted, but it's always maximum comfort) Computer running fast (No lag to annoy me while I'm posting on forums, 'cause they're gonna be ****ed busy!) No jobs to do (Night to myself!) Everyone who I wanna play it with is online Headset fully charged 2 Litre Bottle of Pepsi McVities Digestive Biscuits Parent out of the house (No distractions) No school (All day on it ) My new room setup (Doing that soon - makes my room nicer, TV is bigger etc) Controllers fully charged My dovet on my chair for extra padding! That's about all off the top of my head What would yours be? | 2008-08-12 22:07:00 Author: DrunkMiffy Posts: 2758 |

Sounds good to me especially raining outside and no school Another thing I would want is it to be freezing; so cold that I could see my breathe | 2008-08-13 06:04:00 Author: Unknown User |
Awesome thread idea Drunk. Here are the things that need to happen for it to be considered "perfect" for me: Overcast/stormy weather(no lightning for it could cut the power) Pajamas Dark room Cold in the house, tons of blankets on me Headset charged No school No pain or discomfort of any kind A glass of milk(I am a milk fiend) Instruction Manual read(I love reading them; it's like building up to the climax of actually playing, lol) That's all I would need for a perfect gaming session. | 2008-08-13 06:10:00 Author: ConfusedCartman Posts: 3729 |
I really like your list! Here's mine: 60inch HDTV (check) Recliner Chair (check) Stuffed Sackboy (Pleasee!!!) Rainy Day (Not going to happen) A cooler full of Coca Cola (check) A friend sitting next to me that I dont have to convince that the game is not for kids (Yeah...It will rain before that happens) All of us online saying "Holy *****, This is awesome" Crackers!!! | 2008-08-13 06:18:00 Author: Noonian Posts: 523 |

I freakin love the way you think lol. I'm not so sure about it being cold though.. Maybe if it was a little chilly I could get cosy, but then my arms would get cold >.< And I sit too far away from my TV if I'm on my bed, so I have to use my leather chair lol. | 2008-08-13 14:40:00 Author: DrunkMiffy Posts: 2758 |

But don't you get that feeling of "Something's missinngg..........."?? I know the feeling, get it all the time when my PS3 is in the living room.. so imma split my perdect contions to depend on my mood.. I'd have to be in my bedroom, it'd have to be pretty warm. Obviously, full stomach and no distractions. Thats it Oh and my room would have to be MESSILY ORGANISED (which it usualy is) None of this 'tidy' mumbo jumbo | 2008-08-13 15:01:00 Author: Maltay Posts: 2073 |

heh... okay here's mine. - Clear desk. that means nothing will get in the way of my TV. - Warm room - Empty house - Headset fully charged - Friends online too (or over mine) - Controllers fully charged - No lectures (in uni) - Calm rain outside. And now i have a choice where to play it.... Either in my room on my small SD TV. Adv: - Comfortable - Cosy - Privacy Dis: - Small TV - Not a HD TV - Too small to hang with friends or downstairs on my HD TV. Adv: - Large 46" HD TV - Big Room for many friends - Easy access to kitchen Dis: - Shared TV, so not private - Possibly colder - Not as comfortable as being in bed. hmmm descisions.... i'll prob go downstairs for the quality. | 2008-08-13 15:34:00 Author: ryryryan Posts: 3767 |

My ideal conditions are if it would finally snow again so I played in the ssnow for like a week off of school and then it's the weekend. Schools out, the snow is still on the ground, its raining lightly. Obviously it would be chilly so id have 3 blankets. No distractions Empty House Using the HDTV in living room Few friends Over (my friends are looking forward to LBP too) Snacks Glass of water (it's all i drink and i love it) Dog is quiet and happy Fully charged controller and headset my iphone's ipod on shuffle and playing songs quietly in the backgorund friends commenting on game and finally nobody bothering me cause they want to use the TV | 2008-08-14 00:53:00 Author: Unknown User |
ok mine are almost the same as everyone elses Come home from school and soccer for one team or another just ate dinner and showered i'm done everything i need to for the following day it's about 6:30 It's raining steadily it's chilly out and inside. (I LOVE the cold!) I fire on the PS3 see all the fellow fans on LBP as well and finally get to enjoy the game i've been dreaming of with no distractions. Sounds awesome! Oh and if it did come out on a friday that would be extra AMAZING as well! | 2008-08-14 03:18:00 Author: Frank-the-Bunny Posts: 1246 |
Probably have to be a Saturday. Storms all day. Not violently, but a steady rain throughout the day. An all-day supply of Clif Bars. 18 bottles of water. Wake up at 6 - play all day. Room spotless, so it doesn't distract me. Warm - not too hot, not too cold, complete comfort. Background music playing softly. And KMills, aren't you in Puerto Rico? What's "cold" down there? Like 65? 70? | 2008-08-14 04:30:00 Author: bbroman Posts: 1374 |
