Tag Lags

Hi, I don't know if someone ever talked about this (but I can't search it, tag is a too small word...) but I have a tag lag.
I once made a tag called bullet. I used an emitter to create those, then deleted all of them (I am 100% sure of it) and the emitter.

Funny thing is, when I tweak tags, the name "bullet" is still on the list (but as you know, names are supposed to disappear when there's nothing with that name anymore). I know, most of you would say "blah, what does it change, get over it".

I can't. I'm a maniac. If the bullet word doesn't disappear, I won't be able to build anymore. It annoys me not to understand. I used a global tag sensor, and it says there is no tag of that name (I tried every color). And I have no followers set to this, no bots called with this, no nothing. WHAT IS GOIN ON ! If you have an idea or had this problem, please speak.

Myabe it's just a glitch? It really isn't that big of a deal unless it has an obvious diverse effect on your level.2011-07-12 19:35:00

thats gonna happen if you saved the bullet with the tag name open, if you spawn the bullet again then it also saves the tag being open... i think closing the tag on one bullet and emmiting that one will fix it2011-07-13 15:40:00

I have some legacy tags like this also. I did manage to clear them though... The problem is you can't use a global sensor... it's range is too big so you don't see it 'fly' in. Make it smaller and drag it around screen by screen

You can try using a follower set to pretty slow to home in on it if it is on.

I'm hoping that it wasn't on a bit of holo that went into the ground. Because you ain't getting that bullet back if that is the case.

If you can delete the entire stage and it's still there, this may be the reason, so just capture the stage chunk by chunk into a fresh level.

Perhaps it doesn't update until you unpause the simulation?

I can't see anything but a flying bullet... even if I have trouble to imagine how, since they all had a lifespan...
who cares. the worst thing that could happen is a flying bullet comming randomly once in the level. And no, I can't copy it chunk by chunk. Well I could, but I'm not that maniac. I created tons of things after, so I'll just ignore it. Can't wait to show the level.
