Not really, just remember that you can skip the beginning cut-scene with the option in the start menu, you don't have to watch it.

just finished story mode 100%. now all I need is to get all the trophies... which I'm SURE I couldn't have missed too many of.

nevermind, i got platinum yesterday. aces in spades is really annoying. I wish you the best of luck if you haven't (or have) gotten that one If you back up your profile, you can maintain your acing streak forever, as long as you import your profile as soon as you die.
