Do whatever you want, just don't take a go. 2011-07-11 15:41:00

PSP go is download only and I think it still costs more than a normal PSP. I'd get the cheapest PSP you can since Vita is coming out. It sounds like LPB Vita may be more like LBP2 than LBP PSP...but we don't really know when it will actually ship, etc...I wouldn't wait if you want to mess around now. Pity you didn't think of this sooner LBP PSP was free with the Welcome back thing...2011-07-11 15:45:00

It's honestly your decision. With the Vita coming out in only a few months, I wouldn't recommend it since you'll probably forget about your PSP if you buy that. However, we'd love to have any new creators on the PSP side. 2011-07-11 15:48:00

If you are considering upgrading to a Vita early then download only is not exactly a downside - you're not gonna find those UMDs ever so useful once you upgrade, whereas titles downloaded from PSN will run fine on your PS Vita Personally, I like my GO, it's a **** site more portable than the other models, which I find useful when I'm travelling with 2 phones, a wallet and a PSP and would rather they were all in my pockets than in bags etc.

Also, the PSP Go 10 free games (including LBP) offer thing was back on recently, at least it was when I bought my Go, in April(ish), not sure if that's stopped again now, but it's worth looking into.

Wasn't that offer only good in EU? I don't remember it being in the US (or Canada for him), but maybe I'm mistaken. I wish I had known the Go was coming out when I bought my PSP since I liked the appearance and idea of it better (16 gigs would be nice).

Yeah, the UMD thing isn't an issue IMHO...I haven't bought a UMD in years, I love that you can get all new PSP titles from PSN (not that there are any these days). I have a 3000 with a 16 gb memory stick and I don't really need my portable to be that portable since I just play it on my couch. If you can get the GO with 10 games and one is LBP that's certainly a good route. The GO makes the already award "claw" for Monster Hunter even more awkward, which is why I personally stuck with the 3000; I'm so happy that the form factor for the Vita looks perfect, can't wait to get my hands on one!2011-07-11 16:39:00

I would wait. For example, they might make it so PSP games on the Vita, are in a memory card like PS1 games on the PS3. So, basically you could not transfer the save file for LBP. I got Lbp PSP with the welcome back package, but don't even have a PSP, I'm going to download it when I get a Vita!2011-07-11 18:12:00

It might well have been, as I said I don't even know if it's still on, but it's something to look into if you're deciding on which SKU to buy

Media Go transfers PSP save games, so there should be no problem there. I was using it to swap between my two Welcome Back games until my compy went aaaarghblah.2011-07-12 13:23:00

Rtm, you have LBP PSP!? sweet... working on anything yet?

Sorry for getting sidetracked, if you already have lbp psp and mod nation, I'd go ahead and get a Go, they are the same used price as the 3000 at places like Gamestop. That way both games would fit on it at the same time, and its more portable. The downside of it UMD are ridiculously cheap used most of the time, so if you are getting any other games you will have to pay more on the network. Good luck!
