Strange "Ghost Camera" Glitch

Archive: 1 post

Ok, in my Checkers level which I created a while ago, it stars off with a cutscene (the cutscene was done with the "connecting movie cameras together" method, rather than the sequencer method... which I didn't know about at the time). The cutscene plays fine.... nothing wrong there. However, when the player moved back to the start point, part of the cutscene activated again. Theres no logical reason why it should have done. So I tried every thing, even placing the microchip (on which the cameras where placed) on a piece of holo, and deleting the holo when the cutscene had finished didn't help.
So I had to do a work around, made the start of the level look a bit untidy. BTW, the cutscene was activated by a player sensor on the start point.

So, today, I had the sudden urge to go back and try and fix it, given that I know know you can put cameras on a sequencer and still get the transitions. This time, I decide to activate it with a battery, so the sequencer starts as soon as you enter the level. So as I'm doing my cutscene, and testing it step by step, I get the same problem.... on the same camera (the third in the sequence). I wonder if it may be down to the camera angle for some odd reason, so I change the angle, but then when I turn off hover mode and land on the floor, the previous camera angle is played.... even though I haven't even activated the sequencer (by a temporary switch). I delete the camera...... camera angle still happens. Hence the name "Ghost camera".

Has anyone come across anything like this?
