I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone else... Sometimes when working in create mode, the game will not allow me to rewind. When I push left on the d-pad, the screen will do the typical rewind "animation", but it doesn't actually rewind. This is especially frustrating after working on a level for a while and forgetting to save (I know that's my fault and I have learned to save often). This generally only happens when I am working in create mode with someone else.

This generally only happens when I am working in create mode with someone else. In OC, rewind only undoes the last thing done by whomever was the last player to do something, so you'll probably find it's only undoing what the other person did - you have to rewind a few more times to undo what you last did.

I wish it were that simple. Unfortunately, that's not the case here. When this happens, the game will not let me rewind at all (my changes or the other players). The only way to get it to allow me to rewind is to exit the level and load it again. However, this is problematic if i have been working on something for a while, unpause to test it, and then something breaks or I forgot to glue something. Since I can't rewind, I either have to load from a previous save or attempt to fix it manually. But like I said before, this is a pain if I haven't saved the level for a while.

I don't think this is your problem, but I can't rewind when the HDD is doing something. So I capture an object and the little world spins, I can't rewind. I have to wait for it to stop. Can take a while... Once it took 20 seconds. But remember even selecting something and not doing anything can count as a step to rewind sometimes you rewind 20 times to get back to the last change because you check all the chips are behaving as expected.

@Mr_Fusion That is definitely not the issue I am experiencing. This glitch/bug will not allow me to rewind at all until I leave the level, come back and make a change or select something. It doesn't happen often, but when it does it's a pain. I can push left on the d-pad and it looks like it is going to rewind (does the rewind animation and makes the rewind noise), but nothing changes once it's done. For example, let's say I just made a castle, while the game is paused. When I unpause, the castle comes crashing to the floor. I then try to rewind, it does the rewind animation, makes the rewind sound, but when it's done the castle is still in pieces on the ground. The other player and I have not made any changes or selected anything since unpausing. I can't be the only one who has experienced this... or I could be losing my mind. Did you hear that...?

Did you hear that...? Very strange - never encountered anything like this. Maybe it's a new bug in patch 1.04?

I definitely had this issue before the patch. Now that you mention it, I only downloaded the new patch recently as I was taking a break from LBP and I haven't experienced the glitch since. But then again, I only downloaded the patch last night and I haven't been in create with the guy I usually experience this issue with. It usually happens during long create sessions.
