Need help with Sackbots dead.

Archive: 4 posts

Hello all (:
I finally managed to control a sackbot with my sackboy using holograms and stuff. I followed a tutorial on this site. My sackbot must die when it touches water, and so my sackboy must die too.

I did this using a destroyer linked to the hologram. But this results in seeing sackboy die twice. (sackbot and sackboy). Is there any way to make it that you wont see Sackboy die? I just need him to spawn immediately at the scoreboard after the controlled Sackbot died without showing an dead animation twice.

Thanks for your help (:

You can avoid having to kill the player if you do not find a way to hide sackboy's death animation: bot dies? Absence of bot deactivates the original follower and trigger another one that speeds the holo block to the scoreboard.

Alternatively, and perhaps even more efficiently, you can just activate a Game Ender (in your popit next to the Score Giver) and it should automatically pop the player out of the score board.

If instead, you are looking for a player to respawn from a checkpoint after bot death (and start following a fresh bot again), you can skip the player death part as well by making custom checkpoints from which only a bot spawns; then, the player never really dies. You can even keep track of "lives" by counter logic instead of relying on the native game mechanics present with checkpoints.

I dont think you need to kill the player to have it spawn at the scoreboard.
When the sackbot dies avtivate a "Game Ender" and you will be transported to the scoreboard.
You might wanna add a timer too if it goes too quick.
