I feel your pain, trust me losing an entire level that i was just about to publish the next morning is just as disgusting. Today, I'm knocking on wood, my Slim is in good shape Good luck. And if you're out of warranty, don't send it to Sony, it's probably cheaper to buy a new slim. | 2011-07-07 06:26:00 Author: Chump Posts: 1712 |
Ouch. I hate it when that happens (corrupted my 1st PSN account that way). Try and look into refurbishing it. Refurbished consoles have a much lower tendency to break, and I think they're cheaper. | 2011-07-07 06:30:00 Author: Outlaw-Jack Posts: 5757 |
if only it was so easy. getting a new system dose nothing about all the data ive lost. I cant swap my hard drive to the new system I got my 60gig 6 months after launch so its lasted me a long time compaired to some others. If only it was 1 level I lost. new mech, 4-5 levels for a story ive been working on. all my other saved game data, GT5, fallout, etc. Now ive got to wait for some other bills to get delt with before I can afford to deal with this too guess ill have to gett o work on other stuff ive been putting off. | 2011-07-07 06:45:00 Author: OutcastZeroOne Posts: 139 |
Corrupted my 1st PSN account that way. Is it possible to corrupt a PSN ? | 2011-07-07 08:54:00 Author: nysudyrgh Posts: 5482 |
Put it in the freezer for about an hour, worst case scenario, your bronken PS3 is still broken, best case scenario, you get about an hour to back up your stuff. | 2011-07-07 09:37:00 Author: Silverleon Posts: 6707 |

Because if it does then I really want to know who first came up with the idea and realised it worked | 2011-07-07 09:53:00 Author: Coxy224 Posts: 2645 |
This is probably a bit late, but assuming you still have your PS+ subscription from the Welcome Back Program, you could backup your saves to the cloud if you don't have a USB stick. | 2011-07-07 10:00:00 Author: Rhys125 Posts: 841 |
