Lbp2 error

Now this is what happened me a time ago: I had just finished my homework and was going to rest with some lbp2 levels. But when I started playing, the first thing that happened was that the game recogniced my lbp1 account (just like when you for the first time). Then, when I started playing, all of my data was gone!

Well, not all, actually, and that's the most surprising. Here's a list of what's deleted:

-Everything in the story, including all lbp2 items
-all of the pins (I got some of them only by going online
-Which levels in the community that I've played (lbp2 levels)
-all of the training modes and obtained items

This is what's left:

-All of my levels ;lbp1 and lbp2; published and unpublished
-saved pods, characters etc.
-all of my saved items and pictures

Now I know a friend who's account has "dissappeared" in the same way, which makes me think it's not because of my ps3. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anybody know why this happened (if there's a reason)? Iwould be grateful to know.		2011-07-04 09:08:00

Yeah, unfortunately its a rather andom glithch, and one of the many reasons why some keeps saying to back up your profile constantly, dude.2011-07-04 09:52:00

Exiting the game or shutting down the PS3 while the save icon is rotating in the corner of the screen can cause this, but I've heard of it happening randomly to people too. I always back up my profile and rotate the save files as a matter of routine before I exit the game after a session, just in case something like this ever happens. If you have already backed up your profile, you can reload it from the start menu (import profile).2011-07-04 10:03:00
