Sonic Generations - Seaside Hill

Well, if you haven't heard, SEGA is making a Sonic game with levels remade from older games in the series. So I decided that I should try to remake/remix some levels from previous Sonic games! I'm starting with Seaside Hill from Sonic Heroes on the PS2, GCN, and XBOX.

I may not be very good at logic, but my friends and I think i'm good at making levels detailed and looking good. Just take a look at the screenshots below!

Like the title states, this is only Classic Sonic and his abilities, so you can't willfully change layers. Modern Sonic will come soon with all his abilities such as the Homing Attack, AIr Dash, Light Speed Dash, etc.

I liked this level but thought it was a little basic looking and roughly put together in places. Other then that though it was quite entertaining.
I especially enjoyed the jumping effect like in the real game and the coins were also very good i liked the noise when you picked them up most because in other sonic levels i have played it was very boring hearing the same old noise as when collecting bubbles.

BTW the round about was done pretty well.

Overall very good level. With more tweaking and maybe more enemies like ones from the original sonic games i think this will be great.		2011-07-06 12:24:00
