LBP.me got updated
Archive: 13 posts
Tom from GetSatisfaction page: Hi everyone, A few minor updates have gone live for LBP.me today, here's quick summary of the key things included in the update. * The queue button on level profile pages now has a new design * The top bar now includes a quick link to littlebigplanet.com and LBP.me. This will be reflected on littlebigplanet.com shortly. We are trying this out based on feedback we received from you all about not being able to navigate between the two sites easily. * The footer now includes inks to the official Facebook and twitter profiles * LBP2 level badges are now indicated with a LBP2 icon (black badge with a green tree) * One click searches have been removed from the search results page to avoid confusion (as they would start new searches). The search results themselves can now have their sort order changed using the drop down which appears at the top of the results. * General CSS and page improvements Thanks all! Tom I guess that icon is preperation for PSVita and other possible products to decentralize LBP.me and sicne it's not on LBP.me beta version that is under NDA i guess i can show it: http://i.lbp.me/images/spritesheet.png You can see new move icon in data (the black one with glowy thing).... well that all i can say about it Also not listed change, now oyu can see rate of level made by reviewr in review section | 2011-06-30 15:27:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |
That's great and all but I cannot log into LBP.me | 2011-06-30 15:36:00 Author: Unknown User |
There's ALOT of hidden updates to it....none enabled yet. This icon shows *most* of the available "extra" icons for levels which is kinda weird. http://i51.tinypic.com/2jc5xdc.png In the CSS there's also stuff like "remove this when we add hearting for levels" or "add this when we add PN" (im gonna guess PN is 'Play Now' which would auto take you to the level in LBP2. In the CSS there are also classes/id's for playnow, removefromhearted, and some other stuff | 2011-06-30 18:01:00 Author: fodawim Posts: 363 |

What's that light symbol? It means the level requires Move. | 2011-06-30 18:37:00 Author: Plasmavore Posts: 1913 |

They could make some transmission server, that send data to the game without asking, which means we could see some more automatic stuff | 2011-06-30 18:51:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |

They could make some transmission server, that send data to the game without asking, which means we could see some more automatic stuff I think they would simply open a PUSH port on the game and use a PUSH server for it/others but its in the LBP.me CSS if you want proof. #playnow { display: none; } .playnow .button .icon { float: left; padding: 0px; height: 24px; width: 22px; background-position: -86px 0px; background-image: url(/images/spritesheet.png); top: -1px; position: relative; } and /* Add this line when we add PN body.level .controls form.addtoqueue, body.level .controls form.removefromqueue, */ oh and HTTP push lol.. HTTP server push HTTP server push (also known as HTTP streaming) is a mechanism for sending data from a web server to a web browser. HTTP server push can be achieved through several mechanisms. Generally the web server does not terminate a connection after response data has been served to a client. The web server leaves the connection open such that if an event is received, it can immediately be sent to one or multiple clients. Otherwise the data would have to be queued until the client's next request is received. Most web servers offer this functionality via CGI (e.g. Non-Parsed Headers scripts on Apache). | 2011-06-30 19:48:00 Author: fodawim Posts: 363 |
Don't think you are the only one lurking the CSS lol so i don't need to belive you there also new #orderchanger mentioned if you didnt noticed, mabe something related to sorting UPDATE: Dummy me, it's part of that update. Yeah i was thinking on they could use HTTP connection for that if they got custom server, but as you can read this technology is just a hack and comes from TCP/IP aspects of connection and this it's not part of HTTP standard, they might use this the pushing WHATWG Web Applications 1.0 proposal thing if oyu continue reading or just send normal bytes by there own, LBP2 is not a browser so it's not much matter just game need to diffre HTTP from it. Either way thats good | 2011-06-30 20:12:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |

Are they removing the pink tree from the LBP1 levels? | 2011-07-01 06:47:00 Author: Unknown User |
It looks like there's a problem with LBP.me at the moment - I get logged out a couple of seconds after logging in on the PS3's built-in Internet browser. However, Internet Explorer does not seem to be affected by this problem. | 2011-07-10 18:59:00 Author: shoryusatsu999 Posts: 7 |

No It looks like there's a problem with LBP.me at the moment - I get logged out a couple of seconds after logging in on the PS3's built-in Internet browser. However, Internet Explorer does not seem to be affected by this problem. Well PS3 browser is very old in standards and since sites start to drop IE6 support that PS3 browser also fall | 2011-07-11 04:18:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |
