Hi there! I'm looking for a book that I've forgotten the name of. Maybe you could help me find it again. It's a dystopian novel, with a synopsis that reminded me a bit of 1984. Basically, when the story takes place, the United States, Europe and the USSR are at war, but what people don't know is that all this is an act. The countries set up a war to create a climate of fear and build authoritarian states. Once a dictatorship has been set up, populations can be controlled more easily. Does this remind anyone of anything? It sounded like a pretty interesting book and I'd like to get to know more about it. Thanks!
