8-Bit Wonderland (ALPHA Build)

| Hi everyone. It's me Mike (or mikemichaelmic) and I'm hear today to promote a project I've been working on for months in LBP2. Funny thing is even after all that time I'm not even close to finishing my project. My project is called 8-Bit Wonderland. The reason my game has taken me so long to make so far is because it really will be a FULL GAME. I'm planning to have five stages in this game. Every stage will have 3 parts to them. All of the graphics are as authentically retro, and 8-bit as they can get in LBP2, and my composers Vetnern, and Race9876 are making an original soundtrack for it. Every level will also have a giant boss to defeat as well. All of the levels will also be linked to a HUB WORLD meaning that while your playing 8-Bit Wonderland, you wont have to exit back to your pod after you beat a level. I want 8-Bit Wonderland to be an authentic, retro, and original game experience. about roughly a month, and a half ago I released an early pre-alpha version of 8-Bit Wonderland and surprisingly the reaction from the community was fantastic. The community supporting me has given me a reason to continue making it. So to those people so far that have played it, and helped me with the soundtrack, thank you so much. | Hey there i played this yesterday and found it to be a reasonable 8-bit experience. This level has a really great look to it the background especially feels retro and 8-bit. The gameplay itself was reasonable as well. I would like to say though that i found the fact you controled a normal sack person to be very disapointing as i would have loved to control an 8-bit sack bot instead to really get that retro feel. | 2011-07-06 14:05:00 Author: Lordwarblade  Posts: 761 |
