I cannot seem to connect to anyone

Archive: 6 posts

I am having a problem when trying to play with people online with this game.
MSG4, Wipeout, Warhawk, no problems.. This game, there is a problem.

Now when I 1st load up LBP, I get a warning stating "Your connection to the internet is of a type that can have difficulties connecting to other players. This might decrease your enjoyment of the game. Please see the Media Molecule website for more details." I cannot seem to find anything on the Media Molecule website for network settings or anything. When I 1st connected my PS3 up I was getting an error. Found that I was able to fix my problem here http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message?board.id=psnetwork&thread.id=22354

I am wondering if someone could possibly help out. I bought this game for the online properties.

Hmm... I can never connect to anyone, I just learn to live with it :S

I tend to bring friends round, though I only have two controllers.

No wifi, mine is a wired connection through my router. I am pretty sure it may have to do with my router settings, but I am not too sure what to look for.2008-12-13 08:40:00

Try connecting directly through your modem. If the problem persists, then it's not your router. If it doesn't, post what type of router you have and it's model number.

Model # of the Router is D-Link DI-604
I was also looking a http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Dlink/DI-604/PS3_NAT_Type_3_to_2.htm
I have tried it, put the settings into my PS3, and it still seems to show it as a NAT 3 once I have updated the settings.
