ok ive had this problem for a while now, the glitch is that if i want to join a level with someone else most of the time i get the "Busy" message and i cant join anyone, also the dive in button is broke for me because whenever i try to join a player i get a busy message again, this has been bugging me for a long time and i havent found anything online about this and it kind of makes playing with others impossible so i really need help wait i dont think i said the glitch properly, the glitch is that when i go to dive in the system looks for the SAME player that are busy, so its impossible to play using dive in

I don't think that is a glitch, if the player is busy and does not allow the join you get that message. When I am creating and I am getting join requests I didn't ever accept until I finished and saved (excluding yesterday where someone instantly copied a helicopter I had spent weeks on...so that was the end of that). I think you get that message if the user is like me and does not click deny or accept.

I think you get that message if the user is like me and does not click deny or accept. sorry i didnt explain the glitch fully, when the "Dive in" system finds a player and they're busy then it goes over those players again and again so dive in is litterally broke, also if somebody dosn't accept or deny a follow request the message is not They are busy it is The follow request timed out, and if its denied then it says The pplayer did not allow you to follow/join oh and also every time i try to join other players it always says they are busy, its happened for 2 days and i also got hit with a Playeris busy message when i tried to join my freind, and he also told me his busy status was off so im either really unlucky or i have a glitch...

The settings for this are the "ask, auto-accept, auto-reject" options under the online tab in the start menu. There isn't a busy status button, so maybe your friend thought you meant the PSN busy/online status you can change in the XMB? Send me a friend request and see if you can join if you like. ^_^

I find this happens when you try to join someone who is in create mode, I get the same exact message as the thread title.

...when the "Dive in" system finds a player and they're busy then it goes over those players again and again so dive in is litterally broke... The Dive In option attempts to locate players who are geographically nearby, so it will often pick the same person over and over, and if that player wants to be left alone, you're kinda screwed. ...i also got hit with a Playeris busy message when i tried to join my freind, and he also told me his busy status was off... If you try to join someone who's in Create Mode AND the thermo is over a certain amount (I forget what it is, maybe 60-70%) then you always get that message. If you want to co-create in such a level, you'll have to join them in their pod before they enter the level.

22 hour necro... thanks for the help guys even though most of the help has just been correcting errors in my post..lol, but im not trying to join someone in create mode, its whenever i click on a level and press Join Them it always says they're busy, thanks Ayneh should i freind you? my playstation name is Doozy1 and if i dont get a a busy message then ill belive this is just bad luck and i have to hammer the dive in button more

The only other explanation I could give is that perhaps the level you are trying to jump in to has a thermo too high to allow players to join. It CAN happen, but it shouldn't happen on EVERY level you try, is it doing it 100% of the time or just on specific levels?

closethread i think this has just been bad luck because the last 5 games i joined there was no "Busy" message, although i still cant join my freind in game....
