Monday just gone I popped in my LBP2 game disc and was in my pod and a message popped up: ‘Recent changes to your profile could not be changed due to an unknown error’ First off I was thinking errr what changes I haven’t done anything I just entered my pod. Then I remembered in LBP1 I was prompted to re-import update my profile which I think is due to me recently changing my hard drive. Also since LBP1 profile ‘talks’ to your LBP2 profile. I quit out and went back in and I haven’t seen this message again. I also went into LBP1 and got an extra item to see if it would import over and it did. Then yesterday I decided to go on a clearing out rampage and deleted old LBP1 levels on my moon and in my pop-it items. Cleared out all community items and pictures and redundant items to make my profile smaller. Since doing so I’ve replayed a game level or two and have been creating without seeing this message again. I also have 5 levels left to ace and it's worried me a bit as to wether my profile will update when I get an ace. (I have a few profile back-ups before and after chnaging my hard drive and indivual level back-ups just in case) Is this a sign that my profile is heading towards corruption? Or is this related to fact that I just changed my hard drive and restored my back-up over the new hard drive? :eek:

everyone who got their profile corrupted said that it said nothing before it reset their account, profile corruption happens only with a glitch, not with changing hard drives and also maybe the profile changes "could not be savead" because you had too many photobooth photos or community items in your inventory??

Ah yes, I cleared all these out as I use photos for F4F and showing any glitches or problem when playing community levels. I'll bare this in mind as my profile grows and keep clearing things out of my pop-it if not needed.

The same thing just happened to me today, I think I should've checked the threads because I just started one about the same topic about 10 minutes ago.
