Mine has started loading past the initial loading bar, but finiding a matchmaking is actually slower than the matchmaking in uncharted 2, which I thought was impossible... I suppose it isn't!!

It's literally just taken me 15 to 20 minutes to find a game, woooow it's slow. But gameplay is actually really good, not bad for a first game either, me and my team mate got 13 kills and finished second, I got a few of them. The battle system doesn't seem as 'robotic' as the last game.

Is anyone having trouble downloading the 1.01 update? Everytime I try, my PS3 does the triple beep sound. But when I put in a regular game, and it plays fine. Edit: Nevermind, I found a way around it. ^_^

Probably not. I'm only not playing it myself because I don't like Uncharted. Actually, I do want to try it, because it does look fun, but I won't. Including: - Character customization. Now you can kinda customize a character. - New buffs and one time buffs that stil cost money, but work once (but can be activated in-battle as well.) - Co - op is not different modes, but just a single timed mode with Siege, survival, trasure hunter modes all cycling from one to ther next until time's out. - Failing in co-op now still gives you the money you earned anyways. That's about all iIve sen so far, but I haven't played much, so there's probably more. Not to mention the BETA is bound to change quite some more than likely.

Co-op is different modes, they just release them periodically. Here's a schedule to the events of the beta [ http://www.naughtydog.com/site/post/uncharted_3_multiplayer_beta_details/ ]. To sum it up pretty much, they're releasing different modes during different time periods of the beta so we haven't seen half of the competitive/co-op modes yet. Co-op modes include Co-op Hunter, Co-op Adventure, and Co-op Arena (the only co-op currently available at the moment and the one Silverleon is talking about). Hope this helps clear up a bit about what's going on with the beta. It would've been useful if Naughty Dog had included this schedule within the beta itself instead of that useless "Uncharted TV" rubbish, but there you go.

Lovin the beta. I always loved the UC2's online, but they have really stepped it up. Almost everything is perfect, but I seem to be the only person on the beta who doesn't like Airstrip. The 1st part of it anyway (the big car chase with plane).

The 1st part of it anyway (the big car chase with plane). I didn't like the first part of the Airstrip either. It's neat part to put in but I felt that the pirates were at bit of a disadvantage sometimes having to try and climb onto the plane while the trucks were moving.

I had a few of those situations where there's a delayed reaction for someone I've shot at enough to the point where he's supposed to be dead. Instead, he just walks up to me, punches me a few times, and I die. A few seconds later he dies as well. Also had a situation where in the midst of a team deathmatch game, everyone on the opposing team would not be able to respawn and instead be frozen as inanimate corpses while a few members of my team froze in place as well. The rest of us could move freely and grenades would also not detonate as if time had stopped. We fooled around a bit, taunted around a few frozen teammates, and had a bit of fun until the timer ran out. Unfortunately, the timer did not run out and instead continued into the negatives for a few seconds before it crashed the game. Then again, it's just a beta.

Hmmm... I'm wondering, should melee be a one hit kill? What you guys think? I'm sick of running up to a guy and doing a melee attack and then dying... but if it was a one-hit kill it could be two overpowered...

Still keep one-hit kills from behind, though. Anyway, I tested the splitscreen feature with my brother. It's one of the best features in the game. We can play on each other's accounts and rank up like as we were playing separately. And it doesn't lag or anything! The only issue was that all rank up messages are being given in the leader's screen, but that's a minor issue.

I played the splitscreen with my nephue last night. I have a 22inch screen. we sat about 2 meters away to play. the screens are about 3/4 of the half screen. we couldn't read anything or see our aiming circles properly and lost massivley. Why the heck aren't the screens full sized, and divided horrizontally on a wide screen? it blinkin' impossible to see anything on those screens! P.s. loving the lack of k/d ratio. Never bothered with it myself but I've notice there seems to be less people camping, glitching, owning *** with it gone.

Well, large widescreen TVs are a requirement for proper splitscreen enjoyment. Have you ever played CoD 4 players splitscreen in a small TV?

no, I can't stand COD. worst and most dissrespectfull idea for a game ever imo. I can't afford a big T.V. why should I be punished because of that? ps2 games (namely battelfront 2) that we play splitscreen together with, same t.v. same distance, are fine. I can read the words and see my aiming because the splitscreen uses all the space the T.V. has!!! Warhawk is another example of successfull splitscreen on a multiplayer tps. I don't see any reason why uncharted can't follow in those two games footsteps. Neither of them seem to suffer visable differences in graphics, so that can't be the reason.
