An object I really wanted to keep is on a previous backup. I want to use that object for my level that I am working on. My question is if I restore the backup that contains my item, will it overwrite the levels on my moon with the restored save??? Thanks!

Restoring a full profile backup will overwrite everything, including moon levels. Typical solution would be... Backup current profile Restore old profile Put what you want to keep in a blank level and export the level Restore current profile Import level backup

Aya042 hit the nail on the head. Don't forget that, as an alternative to Step #3, you can also use Object Capture (draw a box around the object you like and save it to My Objects), to put portions of the level into bubbles, then Publish those, or Gift them to a temporary other user.
