A second moveset?

Archive: 8 posts

Is it possible that once you press a button (Right on the d-pad for example), you can change your moveset for your sackbot?
Kinda like with god of war where you equip a new weapon and every move changes in design. Cause I want to when I press Right, I get ice powers, I'm willing to create a completely new moveset, but how can I toggle between ice and normal movesets with a press of a button, and return back to normal the sameway?

Any advice or tips to help me understand how to do this =?
Cheers.

If you only have ice and normal use a direction splitter and hook up positive to a toggle.

For more then 2 use direction splitters and a selector

Hi.
If i am getting it right you need 2 sets of buttons (moves) in 2 controlinators (one controllinator for each set).
I am sure it mentioned before here somewhere or around the world lol, but anyway the simplest solution will be to have each of those 2 controllinators on its own microchip, a 2 way selector and a 3rd controlinator on bots chip.
Simply connect the button(s) from the 3rd controllinator that will change the movesets, in the 2 way selector inputs and the outputs of the selector to the appropriate controllinator chips (on/off input).

Hope it gives you an idea.

Different microchips, each containing a moveset, then link a selector port to each microchip On/Off and set the D-Pad Left/Right to Cycle.2011-06-28 13:20:00

As other people have said. Move-sets in chips, Have each chips 'activate' input hooked up to a different output of a 4 port selector. have all of this on a 'master' controlinator chipboard with the D-pad left/right and up/down outputs going into 2 direction splitters respectively, plug the +/- outputs of each direction splitter into one of the 4 inputs of the selector.2011-06-30 15:26:00
