Demons' Attack - Survival

Alright, I'm not well-versed in survival levels so bear with me. Right off the bat I found a spelling error "castel" so there's that, and I found the Japanese aesthetic mostly pleasing. When I got into the castle I found myself liking the visuals less and less, they were boring and unimaginitive. Try using decorations and maybe some variety in the background to provide some more interest. Enemies were surprisingly effective in killing me, and were pretty fun to kill. I thought that providing more weapons to unlock as you get more points was a refreshing and exciting goal, and really made me want to play more. I'm not sure if you could call this a survival, due to the fact that you have infinite checkpoints, it seems to me more a points challenge (though I'm not really sure what the kids are classifying their levels as these days). Fun level overall, I enjoyed it.

When you get the chance please play my and provide feedback for my level "The Topiary Tower Tragedy" I would really appreciate it

hey there i played this yesterday.

I liked the japanese theme though it was a little empty.
The enemies were pushovers and i thought they needed to be more reactive from a distance as i found them in bunches and just fired my paintinator at the killing up to eight at a time easily.

I liked the weapons you could unlock later with points but thought you needed to make them a little more effective.
I would like to see more to the level and maybe make it pure survival by removing the unlimited life checkpoints and adding 4 life checkpoints.

Oerall not too bad but needs some work.

ok,thanks, I will try to modify weapons ect. At the beginning I've used also messiles, but sackboys didn't receive point for kills... and I don't know how to solve that issue..2011-06-28 20:49:00

Checked this out last night and had fun. Liked the castle theme and was pleased to see fire demons rather than the ubiquitous zombie plague infesting most survival levels these days. I'm no great shakes at making survivals myself but in terms of improvement:
-maybe some variation in enemy with diffewrent sizes and attack patterns
-add some more interactive details and triggered effects to add some random scoring chances (pots that smash,furniture that collapses to reveal hidden bubble stashes etc)
-a few proximity triggered spot lighting and sound effects.
Overall a good foundation for a successful survival level.
