LBPC Introduction.

| I pretty much came up with this idea just before I went to sleep. I guess it sounded better at the time. But I decided, hell to it, I'm gonna go ahead and post it anyway. I think we should make an "LBPC" version of the "Introduction" level on LBP. The one where all them faces and that pop up as you go along the level. Just have the more prominent members show their mugs off as you walk along. Nothing challenging, it's more there for a "Hey, we're a community. How you doing?" I ain't even selling it well. that is a great idea. We could have one of the site filmers do a vid of it and post it to every new commer. But that's what i'm guessing you ment  I've already had something like this in process for ages of a lbpc level (not the rubbish one i made as a test in the beta lol) but not as an out and out introduction, that would be great. Never crossed my mind. That's a sweet idea right there. Give them details to find the level, or if they'd rather, simply watch the video. Also, if we show the level off to as many people as we can, we could get some more puplicity for the site itself maybe. I won't be making the level. Why shouldn't we have the same amount?>_> I don't see why the staff need to be the only ones in there. Also, we can have it in by order of Join Date, not importance. We could have some sort of contest, or choose by posts, by how many points a member has, if he has any Trophies...The list goes on. The matter here is to choose. | If whoever does get in this doesn't have a EYE TOY/PS EYE then they could just upload a pic to someone that does. Then they could just print it out and take a pc. Chazo'Sulls offered, and so would I if I was lacking another week of exams. Is there anybody else up for doing it? & I also have another idea for this which is yet to come to fruition.. Those who I feel would make interesting additions to the level. | That was not my intention at all. I was just trying to move things a long a bit. Every project starts with a list of goals, things that need to be accomplished. How are we going to get a community level filled with members pictures if we do not know who actually has a picture? This project belongs to the community. It is a collaboration. Then you can put your faces on in crystal clear quality As im not a Mod or an Admin im gunna go make one by myself. It will have 20 pictures of me and me alone. I completely understand that some people won't want to use their own pictures, so I'll allow people to use an image or such to represent themselves. | Well I've read a few pages of this, and I didn't see anyone mention the possibility of a contest to get into the level. Or even a random draw? Get a list of names with people who want to be in the level and have someone draw them from a hat. This way there can be no complaints/arguements, and we can get on with it Great idea by the way Valo, seriously. Maybe make a new thread that will be up for 2 days, where people can post if they wish to be part of the level. | These are all things to think about. I think it would be easier to have someone make one section, another a seperate part and so on. That way we get different ideas in there. Should look interesting. If you saved it for online creation, there may be lag issues, disagreements with the way things are being made, any number of issues. I don't know.
