There is your answer. The sound wont be as good but it should still be satisfactory. Thats the problem it sounds all statitcy when you do it on the mouth. But, it might just be the quality of my Mic......T_T | 2011-06-24 21:50:00 Author: fighterwindplus Posts: 403 |
You can buy a high quality microphone with a USB cord/adapter then place a cloth over the microphone so that you don't get spit and air sounds in the audio. | 2011-06-24 22:47:00 Author: LBP2_Tutorialist Posts: 225 |

It's not your mic. Dont buy a high quality mic yet. It is LBPs online compressor that makes it low quality. | 2011-06-25 01:15:00 Author: poorjack Posts: 1806 |
It's not your mic. Dont buy a high quality mic yet. It is LBPs online compressor that makes it low quality. Then how do some people have good quality voice acting when they make movies? | 2011-06-25 01:25:00 Author: fighterwindplus Posts: 403 |
I have personally never heard a high quality VO, and I have heard of people putting music from an ipod directly onto LBP and it being staticky and garbled. I was just trying to stop you from wasting money m8. | 2011-06-25 05:55:00 Author: poorjack Posts: 1806 |
Put a cloth or fabric sheet over your mic, this blocks air and spit from hitting the microphone and making noise. | 2011-06-25 07:31:00 Author: nunsmasher Posts: 247 |
It's not the mic indeed. Your mic's quality is the last of your worries, extremely high compression makes every recorded sound hissy. I too am wondering which high quality recordings there are on LBP! | 2011-06-28 07:40:00 Author: hesido Posts: 166 |
Yeah, I havent seen any high quality recordings aside from those from Mm's own levels. | 2011-06-28 13:24:00 Author: poorjack Posts: 1806 |
okay, so what type of cloth do u put over the mic? Anyone know | 2011-06-29 22:31:00 Author: fighterwindplus Posts: 403 |
I'm no expert or anything but if its just to block wind and spit, probably anything would work as long as its not too thick | 2011-06-30 04:31:00 Author: Zero10100 Posts: 385 |
okay, so what type of cloth do u put over the mic? Anyone know A cloth or high-quality microphone is useless for LBP2. The audio will be compressed and therefore be low quality no matter how many thousands of dollars you spend on high-fidelity audio equipment. | 2011-06-30 13:42:00 Author: schm0 Posts: 1239 |
There have been many nice recordings, guess you guys just dont play enough levels And Schmo, the cloth does help masking some bg noises. | 2011-06-30 14:00:00 Author: Luos_83 Posts: 2136 |
True, but if you're concerned with recording any sound and want it to sound good, background noise shouldn't be a factor to begin with. | 2011-06-30 14:10:00 Author: schm0 Posts: 1239 |
...background noise shouldn't be a factor to begin with. What's being suggested, i.e. a pop filter (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pop_filter), isn't to remove background noise, but to minimize clipping distortion from typical human speech. TBH, though, simply placing the mic slightly to the side of your mouth, rather than directly in front, works pretty well also. | 2011-06-30 15:34:00 Author: Aya042 Posts: 2870 |
