The Sushi Adventure

Archive: 6 posts

This level started as a level me and a friend were making. Then it got hard to be on the same time he was on, so I finished up the level. I did most of the stuff too the level. But he does get some credit.

I will do my best to give good feedback on your level, Though I am new at it.

Enjoy.

I thought the creatures with the spikes and brains were unique. Unfortunately I didn't get to the end because the elevator with the green light left without me. You need a way for it to return to the ground level is the sackperson falls off. Please try my level, "Are we there Yeti?"2011-07-01 21:54:00

When i entered the level i realised it was already beyond your last one. The quality was much better as was the platforming. It was though still a bit basic as far as levels go but not horrible.

I do think though that you need to think of a theme like what type of surrounding your level should be and atmophere because i have to say that being a sushi level i was expecting a japanese type of level.
Maybe also decide more about the materials you use and think to yourself do they fit right with each other. A nice looking level with detail and decorations also good use of lighting goes a long way.

The sushi monsters were pretty nice and dangerous looking but it was very easy to just avoid them also i would have liked to see more sushi monsters and even some different desighns of evil sushi monster.

As said by you really do need to make the space ship lifts go back down when you fall off.

Overall not a bad level your obviouly improving since your first. Keep at it as i know this is LBP 1 your using and is very limited in tools.

Yayed and hearted because your obviously trying to better your skills and as far as i'm concerend that is very good.

My LBP 1 level is Heavy Calibre its in my sig.

Creatures were well done and the entrance with the car was very good. I personally would like to see more of the car, and maybe it features towards the end of the level. However I couldn't get past the UFO type platform that I tried to jump on. I kept on falling short and when I tried to jump back up it moved up. Maybe tweek this so when the player isn't near the platform comes back down to reset itself. Or am I missing something. I will be more than happy to give it another go.

F4F: Please play my level The Wheels Of Revoultion and place feedback (thread below). Thank you.

I liked the new look and the extra enemies was a nice touch. The buttons on the space ship didn't work that great though as the ships still don't go back down when the player isn't on them.

I tested a few possibilities and found the best one to be to place aplayer sensor attached to the pistin and set the piston to backwards and forwards motion (May have to make it reversed if it dosent go down automatically) that way when the player sensor is activated the lift will rise then when the player falls off the lift will fall.
