I think that there should be a tool that would let you change the viscosity of the water. That way solutions like mud,oil, and um, coffee could be achieved. So for example: when you swim in something such as "oil", sackboy would move slower through it. Or if you swam in something such as "vegetable oil" (lol) you would move slighty quicker through it. Ha, vegetable oil. The idea of water viscosity doesn't sound bad, but maybe use some more mainstream terms like mud or swamp for a really thick, slow consistency. I don't know what would allow you to swim faster than you do in water, but I suppose that's possible. Travel in water is slow as it is.
