So i made a level together with a friend of my over PSN. I published the level, and made it copyable so my friend was able to copy it from me.. At the same time, some random kid saw my level, and copied it on his own earth. http://lbp.me/v/1tsfbm - Stolen Version http://lbp.me/v/z41h2w - My version Now, his version has like 5000 views, mine has only 400. While i was the one creating it. There are also reviews saying: ''THIS LEVEL IS COPIED FROM DOOMEDX'' that comment has like 10 boo's. And another comment says: ''Its not made by DoomeDx, his version has only 400 views, this one has over 4000!!'' Pretty annoying isnt it? Is there anything i can do? This is seriously making me mad I would actually really like some help with this.. Because its ******* me off. Make a review (Or YAY my review) saying that its NOT his level, and does not deserve any credit for this.

Go on the girl that copied the level's page, And tell her to remove it and give her a scary "threat". Works for all the little kids that copy stuff.

! This is ridiculous! i hate when people do this crap.. i'l grief the other and play yours Doomedx... when the patch is done.. updating now.. At the same time though.. sometimes its hard to tell who the original creator is with levels that are copied... especially music levels.. there are a few "Recreations" of songs that I have heard several times in a few different creators levels and i have no idea who the original belongs to :/

Next time you publish a level that you want a friend to copy, lock it first so that noone can take it and then send that friend a PM with your key in it. This way noone but the people with the keys can get it.

Done already. Here is what i said: I am the original creator of the 'LittleBigSims 2.20' level, and would like to ask you to either remove te level, or give my credit by putting my name in the title. I contacted Media Molecule (Creators of the game) about this, and they might otherwise take agressive actions towards you. I hope we can settle this out without making to much of a deal. Also made a review & Comment saying: I would to point out that I am the original creator of this level. I made this together with xxDarkGamerxx. This guy copied it, and got more views then me. We are the one deserving credit for this, not him. The oringinal and less buggy version is on my earth. hell this isnt even the full version

Yeah ive seen it..the *******. I updated my level but wanted my friend to have it to. thats the moment he stole it. Im still pretty angry. Its not because its 'just a game', its because i worked hard for it. And now the little kid gets away with it. I tweeted @ LBP though

You have a right to be angry! We get a lot of threads here from people saying that their levels were stolen, but what's especially aggrivating about this particular case is that people playing the level judge 'who made the level' on how many plays it has, not the publish date. That's just common sense, people!

Great idea. Doing that next time.but i dont really feel like working MONTHS for a level..again Yea I always put levels copy locked, the thing about the keys though, they only unlock levels if the level with the key is published on an earth aswell, so just a heads up to you. You have to publish a locked level containing the key and scoreboard, your friend joins you, you play the level with the key, get the key and finish the level and then the copy locked level should be unlocked for your friend.

I'm making a level terminal to help prevent this. it has a sticker locked door that can only be opened by trustworthy people. inside each room there's a level link to the level, and a key to unlock it.

Aww, Samething happened to me once, i putted my level copyable without noticing and 1 days later i found my level on the first page and he was the most played (LBP1) i was really happy but after that i noticed the creator name was someone esle and i was like wtf. And me the real creator of it had almost none play. So i understand perfectly wat's happening to you and it does make us mad. I guess reporting is wat you can do

This is a nasty thing to do. I hope it gets taken down. However you must take responsibility for openly uploading a copyable level for your friend to download, if even for a couple of minutes. Next time use a key or lockbox or something. Still, the other person is a **** for doing that and taking all the credit... they didn't even change the badge :/

Yeah, well, lesson learned sadly. Always publish locked and give your friend the key. It's unfortunate you had one of the few cheaters of that caliber find your level. However, I don't think you can prove he did anything wrong except ignore you. He copied a level that was published as copyable. Really sorry to hear that happened to you.

The upload dates tell the difference. I understand that he was the first to publish. I'm saying that he will have a hard time saying the person stole from him since he copied a public level that was copyable. The most he could blame him for is ignoring him, and assuming he has seen the original authors comment, being a complete jerk. As sad as it is, it was his own fault/mistake that this guy was allowed to take it freely.

That's a crappy thing to happen to you. You make your level copyable for a minute just to pass it on to your friend and some opportunist lurker snatches it from under your nose to claim it as their own. Seriously bad luck. Anyways, I've griefed the copied level for you, though I'm not sure if it will help at all.
