Something I think could really add a lot to our ability to make neat cutscenes and the like would be a few canned sackbot animations that let you make the bots do things that can't be done with the basic puppeteering controls Things like turning their back to the camera, or doing a prat fall, or sitting on the ground like sackboy does briefly during his idle animation. Maybe even the fancy jumps sackboy does off a bounce pad, without the actual need for a bounce pad. There's just some motions and actions that can't be conveyed through arm motions and facial expressions, and being able to make sackbots do some of them would go a long way in our ability to give the npcs in our levels and cutscenes some more character. Also, I'd love it if, in addition to expression, behavior type, etc., you could alter what your sackbot was wearing through logic. Like say you have a sword item in the level, and when the bot touches it he's suddenly holding the sword accessory. You can kind of do this by destroying the bot and emitting a new one with the updated outfit, but this is cumbersome and can be inconvenient if you have logic on your sackbot's chip that has information that you need to retain.

Why not add Pose Editors and Animation Sequencers while you're at it, allowing you to create custom animations? I also found it confusing that you can't change a Sackbot's costume with the AI chips. There's a lot of potential uses for that feature.

Yes both of you guy's ideas need to be made real. It be very useful to change a Sackbot's costume with the AI chips. and We neeeed WAAAAAY more Sackbot Animation options. *mew

I want their feet to not touch the ground when you turn them... How are we supposed to make them sleep???
